- the flexible tongues 225 cluck or fit into the recesses 43 of the holding plates 5a4 and 5b4.
- the holding plate 5a4 is a conductive plate having a fold 135 in order to respect a standard pitch between the connection terminals 15 but also to retain the radiating elements 9.
- the pitch between the conductive plates 4 is identical to that between the terminals 15 connection, these conductive plates 4 have folds or flaps 35 for wedging the radiant elements 9 which are not represented in the Figures 7A and 7C to clarify more.
- the flexible tongues 325 are formed in the upper and lower portions of the U-shaped rails 41 of the front 11 and rear 13 bases.

The invention relates to electric heating devices, in particular for air heating installations in motor vehicles.
In a well-known manner, the heating of the air intended for heating the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle with a heat engine, as well as for defogging and deicing, is ensured by heat exchange between an air flow and a engine coolant circulating in an exchanger.
It is also known that at startup and for a certain period of time after starting, the calories carried by the engine coolant may be insufficient to ensure rapid and efficient heating of the passenger compartment. This is observed more particularly with certain types of engine and has a real disadvantage in very cold weather because not only the internal temperature of the passenger compartment can be raised quickly, but also the functions of defrosting and defogging can not be ensured effectively.
To overcome these drawbacks, it has been proposed to mount a complementary electric heating device in the air flow directed towards the passenger compartment.
Such a device generally comprises a heating body comprising a plurality of parallel conductive plates between which are mounted heating resistive elements and radiant elements increasing the heat exchange surface with the air flow passing through the heating device. The various elements of the heating body are generally assembled together by mechanical means.
To remedy this problem, there is provided monobloc bodies glued, the glue then ensuring the mechanical maintenance at the same time as the electrical link between the elements of the one-piece body.
However, such a bonded heating body must be connected to the plastic bases taking into account the dispersions and manufacturing tolerances of the one-piece body without penalizing the assembly time of such a heating device.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify and optimize the production of an electric heating device comprising a heating element, in particular to reduce manufacturing and assembly costs compared with devices of the prior art.
This object is achieved by means of an electric heating device comprising a heating body comprising a plurality of conductive plates between which heating resistive elements are mounted and radiant elements increasing the heat exchange surface with a flow of air passing through the heating device. heating, the heating body being disposed between a front base and a rear base, the heating body further comprising at least one holding plate of the heating body having at its ends anchoring means cooperating with associated receiving means, by clipping , and integrated in the front and rear bases, in order to fix the heating body between these front and rear bases, characterized in that the front and rear bases have a shape of rectangular housings adapted to accommodate the ends of the heating body and having on their lateral sides of the rails protruding from the bases and cooperating with two holding plates (5a, 5b) arranged on the two outer lateral sides of the heating body (3).
Thus, the mounting of the heating body in the heating device is facilitated.
At least a portion of said conductive plates protrude from the front base to form terminals for connection to a power supply circuit.
The receiving means may comprise flexible tabs arranged in the upper and lower portions of the front and rear bases.
The two holding plates of the heating body may comprise transverse walls having a U-shape at least on their two ends, each of the anchoring means is formed by cuts in said transverse walls, so that the flexible tongues fit together. in the cutouts of the outer conductive plates.

According to a variant, each of the anchoring means is formed by cuts in the transverse walls of said U-shaped holding plates on at least their two ends, and the flexible tongues are formed in the U-branches of the rails, so that the flexible tabs are embedded in the cutouts of the holding plates.
Advantageously, each of the U-shaped rails has on its side wall a flexible blade ensuring accurate setting of the holding plates thus avoiding any problem related to the geometric dispersion of the heating body.
According to another aspect of the invention, the anchoring means of the two holding plates comprise tabs intended to be folded on the associated receiving means integrated in the front and rear bases.
Each of the receiving means may comprise depressions in the upper and lower portions of the front and rear bases, so that said tabs of said holding plates bend in the respective recesses.
According to a particular aspect of the invention, the rectangular housings of the front and rear bases have on their lateral sides U-shaped rails and each of the reception means comprises lugs formed on these rails, so that said lugs of said plates keep bending on the rails just outside the lugs.

Advantageously, the conductive plates have folds at the ends of the heating body so that the connection terminals have a standard pitch.
The one or more holding plates can also form one or more conductive plates.
The front and rear bases can be made of plastic.

The resistive elements 7 may be positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resistors which are usually in the form of blocks or stones. These elements, because of the strong increase in their electrical resistance from a temperature threshold (Curie point), give the heating device the ability to self-regulate as a function of temperature, which avoids any excessive heating. potentially dangerous.

Thus, for a row of resistive elements 7, one side of these resistive elements 7 may be in direct electrical contact with a
