Definitions
- the invention relates to an artillery shell according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- US-A 2,485,887 is a penetration bullet with an impact sensor, with a ground igniter for an explosive charge and a projectile body attached armor penetration cap known.
- the armor piercing cap ensures penetration of the hard structure, so that the projectile body behind the structure.
- the projectile body points on all sides thick wall so that the volume of explosives is small. The effect at the finish line is therefore not always sufficient.
- the invention has for its object to propose an artillery projectile, that is successfully used to combat different goals.
- targets in the protected state behind hard structures we want concrete ceilings, or concrete ceilings with rubble cover.
- too Targets to be combated via air detonation point and targets in the serve are possible.
- a full-caliber artillery projectile 1 with guide ring 2 has only one rear opening 3, which is closed by a screwed-in base 4.
- a threaded connection between a projectile casing 6 and the base piece 4 is designated 5.
- the projectile casing 6 has a thin casing 46 and is of approximately the same thickness, a penetrator 7 being provided at the top of the projectile.
- the penetrator 7 is either in one piece with the shell 6 or from one Heavy metal is formed using known types of connection to the shell 6 is connected.
- the shell 6 reinforced by three webs 8.
- the webs 8 extend about 50% the length of the ogive 40 and are supported on the floor 41.
- the webs 8 are in one piece with the projectile casing 6.
- the spaces 9 between the webs 8 take segments 10 from construction splinters 11, such as cubes, balls. there a channel 12 which runs conically towards the tip remains free. Extends into channel 12 an explosive charge 13 to the bottom 41 of the penetrator 7.
- the base piece 4 carries a base igniter 19 in a recess 18.
- the base igniter 19 has a mechanical securing device 31, not shown in detail, a time delay unit 32 with an electronic time delay up to 50 ms, a detonator 20 and a booster charge 21.
- the base igniter 19 sits centrally in a spherical, concave recess 22 of the bottom piece 4.
- the penetrator 7 has a step 25 on the circumference for fastening a hood 26 made of plastic.
- the hood 26 contains a head detonator 30 with sensors 33, 34 for the detection of a target distance (approximation function) and the impact (Impact fuze function).
- the sensors 33, 34 are known Way through cables or signal lines, such as glass fiber, with the ground igniter 19 connected.
- the artillery storey When fighting a concrete bunker, not shown, with rubble cover or a concrete ceiling with rubble cover, the artillery storey is opened 1 on the rubble.
- the igniter 30 senses the impact and starts the ground igniter 19.
- the safety device unlocks and the electronic time delay starts set.
- the head fuse 30 is destroyed, so that the artillery projectile 1 with the penetrator 7 hit the concrete ceiling and penetrate it as a whole.
- Corresponding the time delay detonates artillery 1 behind the concrete ceiling with splinter effect.
- detonator 30 To combat targets above the air detonation point, detonator 30 detects the intended ground clearance and the artillery projectile is detonated 1 with splinter effect.
- Detonation of the artillery shell occurs when targets are hit 1 due to the sensation of the detonator 30.
- the spherical, concave recess 22 of the base piece 4 centers the detonation waves in the direction of the penetrator 7, so that due to the predetermined Direction of detonation waves from the back to the front an increased amount of fragments in the direction of flight of artillery level 1.
- the projectile casing 6 is subsequent to the solid formed by the penetrator 7 Structure formed as a thin shell 46 around the inserted construction splinter segments 10 when accelerating through the detonation wave or not little to hinder.
- the stability of the shell 6 is in this area (Ogiven area) achieved by the rib structure of the shell 6.
- construction splinters are different Size and weights provided.
