characterized in that each lateral element, constituted by a longiform cushion each provided for the rest of one of the legs, being adapted to be positioned against the face of the central block which corresponds to it, and comprising an upwardly oriented face (6) of concave profile, is at the level of the distal end shorter, in its longitudinal direction, than the central block, so as to clear the heel outside the support, while avoiding a rotation of the foot towards the inside, thanks to the support procured by the lateral faces (2A, 2B) of the central block. - Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that each lateral element (5, 5') comprises, at the proximal end, an inclined plane (9, 9') supporting the back of the knee and the rear face of the thigh.
- Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the central block (1) is extended in the longitudinal direction beyond the proximal end of the lateral element (5, 5') which is joined thereto.
- Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that an inclined flat portion (6A) oriented upwardly from each face (6) mentioned above, joins the divergent face (2A, 2B) of the central block (1) and is extended outwardly by the profile (6B) in the form of a quarter cylinder.
- Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the concave face (6) of each lateral element (5, 5') presents a slope from its distal end for rest of the ankle towards the proximal portion for rest of the back of the knee.
- Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the central block (1) and the lateral elements (5, 5') are made of elastically compresssible, semi-rigid material of alveolar structure.
- Device for positioning the lower limbs of persons in dorsal decubitus position, according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that each lateral support (5, 5') is removable and adapted to bear against the face of the central block (1) in the angle formed by the lateral faces (2A, 2B), and presents a value adapted to the desired positioning of the lower limbs.
- Device for positioning the lower limbs of persons in dorsal decubitus position, comprising:a central block (1) adapted to be positioned between the subject's legs and presenting two lateral faces (2A and 2B) for supporting the legs, disposed in vertical planes converging towards the subject at an angle of positioning of said limbs, andat least one of said lateral faces of the central unit being associated with the lateral element, defining a comfortable rest volume for the corresponding leg,
characterized in that each lateral element, constituted by a longiform cushion each provided for the rest of one of the legs, being adapted to be positioned against that face of the central block which corresponds thereto, and comprising an upwardly oriented face (6) of concave profile, is at the level of the distal end shorter, in its longitudinal direction, than the central block, so as to clear the heel outside the support, while avoiding a rotation of the foot towards the inside, thanks to the bearing procured by the lateral faces (2A, 2B) of the central block.
