Description

The present invention relates to the sterile packaging of fluid substances.

It relates more particularly to packaging which makes it possible to keep substances protected from the environment until the first use and to distribute them thereafter.

This type of packaging relates, more particularly, to food products such as various sauces, in particular "ketchup", mustard, mayonnaise, food and cosmetic creams, shampoos as well as any other substance of various use capable of s '' alter in contact with air during prolonged storage.

The packaging used hitherto for such products calls for sealing the container containing the substance with a film such as an aluminum-plastic complex which is heat sealed on the opening of the container. This type of sealing has proven its worth, especially for so-called "vacuum" packaging of freeze-dried products such as coffee powder.

A similar packaging has also been used for perfumery products mixed with a propellant in bottles hermetically sealed by an aluminum cap carrying a dip tube to the bottom of the container.

During use, a dispensing head is enclosed on the neck of the bottle, containing a valve terminated by a point which punctures the capsule in the axis of the dip tube during the first use.

However, such a device has the disadvantage that, with each use, the tip clogs, in whole or in part, the first perforation of the capsule, which hinders, or even makes it impossible to dispense the product.

The object of the invention is to overcome the drawbacks of the aforementioned conventional devices, and to allow substances after sterilization or pre-sterilization to be stored in an airtight container until the first use without any discomfort throughout. 'repeated use.

The subject of the invention is a sterile packaging of liquid and semi-liquid fluid substances comprising a container containing the substance to be dispensed, hermetically sealed with a frangible cover, until the first use, and containing an axial tube plunging from below. from the cover to the bottom of the container, as well as a dispenser cap attached to the neck of the container and comprising a member with manual control for perforating the cover and placing the dip tube in communication with a through distribution channel the stopper - packaging characterized in that the perforation member is tubular, sliding axially and telescopically at one end of the distribution channel, and comprises cooperating latching means, at the end of the race and after perforation of the cover, with complementary snap-on means carried by a fixed element of the packaging, for sealingly and definitively abutting the perforating member a with the dip tube.

Preferably, the abutment of the perforating member with the dip tube is maintained after snapping under an axial elastic pressure exerted by axial deformation of an annular piece for centering and holding the tube supported by its periphery on the inside. of the container neck.

The axial elastic pressure can, as a variant, be exerted by buckling of the dip tube, the end of which, which is not abutted, is then notched and bears on the bottom of the container.

According to another variant, the elastic pressure can be exerted by deformation of an elastic part of the perforating member.

The plug may contain a manually controlled pump for the delivery of the substance to be dispensed through the dip tube and the dispensing channel.

Such a pump can suck the substance from the container through the dip tube and discharge it into the distribution channel.

It can also be pneumatic and discharge pressurized air inside the container above the substance to be dispensed.

In one embodiment, the control of the pump is coupled unidirectionally, and only for the first actuation with the perforating member.

Depending on the intended uses, the distribution channel can open radially into the side wall of the plug and towards the blind bottom of the perforating member. The distribution channel can also extend the perforating member axially and open axially at the top of the stopper.

In many uses, it is useful for the plug to have a shutter at the outlet of the distribution channel in order to avoid any blockage of this channel in the event of prolonged unused packaging after use.

Such a shutter can be actuated by the manual control of the delivery of the substance to slip away during the distribution of the substance and to return to its place after distribution.

The invention will be better understood on reading the detailed description which follows and on examining the appended drawings which represent, by way of nonlimiting examples, several embodiments of the invention.

The packaging shown in Figures 1 to 3 essentially comprises a container 1 containing the substance 2 to be dispensed. A tube 4 is centered in the neck of the bottle by an annular piece 11 in the form of a frustoconical washer whose center, integral with the tube 4, is connected by spokes 22 to an external flange 23 bearing on a shoulder close to the opening of the neck 12 of the container.

The neck of the container is hermetically closed by a cover 3 constituted, for example, by a thin sheet of an aluminum-plastic complex welded to the edge of the neck 12 of the container. The neck of the container is capped by a dispensing cap 5 snapped onto an outer rim 24 of the neck of the container 1. This cap 5 essentially comprises a main body 25 pierced with an axial channel in which slides a blind tubular obturator 6 pierced with a radial hole 26 in the vicinity of the blind bottom 18 which, in the depressed position (FIG. 2), opens into a radial distribution channel 7 passing through the plug.

An axial skirt 27 cooperates with a coaxial skirt 28 of the pusher 17 to form a pneumatic pump 16 opening into the bottom of the body 25 through a calibrated orifice 28 '. A return spring 29 permanently urges the pusher 17 towards a position remote from the body 25. The top of the body 17 is pierced with an axial hole 30 communicating with the interior of the pump 16 under the control of a check valve. return 31, housed in an axial blind stud 32, the end of which comes to bear outside of the blind bottom 18 of the perforating member 6, before the first use (FIG. 1).

The outer wall of the pusher 17 is pierced radially with an orifice 21 which comes in the extension of the distribution channel 7 when the pusher 17 is fully depressed (FIG. 2).

At rest, the outer skirt 20 of the body 25 closes this outlet 21, thus isolating the contents of the container. An annular washer 33 fixed to the base of the lateral wall of the pusher 17 by frangible points carries, by its lower end, on a flange 34 of the body 25, and thus prevents any premature depression of the pusher 17, thus guaranteeing the integrity of cover 3.

A lug 35 facilitates the tearing off of this guarantee ring 33 before the first use.

La pièce annulaire 11 cède élastiquement et assure un contact permanent d'étanchéité suffisant entre l'organe perforateur 6 et le tube 4.During the first use (Figure 2), the shutter member 6, pushed back by the stud 32 pierces the cover 3 and comes to be fitted elastically on the end of the tube 4. The annular part 11 yields elastically and ensures contact sufficient permanent seal between the perforating member 6 and the tube 4.

Un rebord annulaire 9 de la base de l'organe perforateur 6 vient s'encliqueter en fin de course dans un rebord annulaire 10 de forme complémentaire du corps 25.An annular rim 9 of the base of the perforating member 6 engages at the end of the travel in an annular rim 10 of complementary shape to the body 25.

Dès lors, l'organe perforateur 6 est solidaire du corps 25 et reste en place lorsque le poussoir 17, refoulé par le ressort 29, remonte (figure 3).Consequently, the perforating member 6 is integral with the body 25 and remains in place when the pusher 17, driven by the spring 29, rises (FIG. 3).

When the pusher 17 is pressed (FIG. 2), the compressed air in the pump 16 is discharged through the calibrated orifice 28 and creates pressure on the surface of the product 2 inside the container 1 passing between the perforating member 6 and the torn cover 3 by the longitudinal groove 64 hollowed out in the perforating member, for delivering the substance through the tube 4 and the channel 7.

When the pusher 17 goes up (FIG. 3), the air penetrates largely through the orifice 30 by pushing the valve 31, while the calibrated orifice 28 '' does not allow the compressed air to return freely inside the pump 16.

Suivant la variante de la pompe 4, le canal de distribution 7a débouche en permanence à l'extérieur à travers une lumière longitudinale allongée 36 de la paroi latérale du poussoir 17.According to the variant of the pump 4, the distribution channel 7a opens permanently to the outside through an elongated longitudinal lumen 36 of the side wall of the pusher 17.

In this embodiment, the product stagnating in the tube 4 and the channel 7a remains in contact with the air, and it may be useful to provide a plug, as indicated in dotted lines at 37, which the user will replace after each use.

In the variant shown in Figure 5, the dip tube 4a bears on the bottom 14 of the container 1 by a cut end of notches 13 for the passage of the substance to be dispensed.

This tube 4a is held in the axis of the neck by an annular support 11a in the shape of a star. When the cover 3 is punctured by the perforating member 6 with a head similar to that of FIGS. 1 to 3, the tube 4a flexes axially as indicated in dotted lines and by this buckling ensures a tight elastic contact between the top of the tube 4a and the perforating member 6.

L'opercule 36 est serti en dessous de la carnette 38.In the embodiment of FIG. 6, the dip tube 4b is fitted into an axial stud of an annular part 11b similar to the part 11 of FIGS. 1 to 3, but whose collar comes to bear on the edge of the carnette 38 of the neck of the container 1a. The cover 36 is crimped below the bag 38.

Such a variant can be used with the head 5 of Figures 1 to 3, and in the same way.

Radial fins 41 stiffen the annular part 11c, in order to allow the snap-fastening of the end of a perforating member 6b on an annular flange 42 of the end of an axial annular duct 43 of the annular part 11c on which is threaded a dip tube 4c.

In the variant of FIG. 8, an aluminum or plastic capsule 11d is fixed on the end of the neck of the container 1c by crimping or snap-fastening with the interposition of an elastic sealing washer 44.

The capsule 11d is in the form of a truncated cone and is extended axially by a blind tubular stud 45 around which a dip tube 4d is inserted. The blind bottom of the stud 45 is advantageously thinned, to facilitate this drilling by a perforating member 6c having a shoulder 46 which comes to carry in a sealed manner inside the truncated cone of the capsule 11d.

La figure 9 représente une variante de l'organe perforateur des figures 1 à 3.FIG. 9 represents a variant of the perforating member of FIGS. 1 to 3.

According to this variant, the perforating member 6a has an accordion part 15 which gives it an axial elasticity ensuring good tight axial retention on the end of the dip tube 4.

In the embodiment described above, the passage of the substance through the dip tube, the perforating member and the distribution tube is free from any obstruction, which makes the packaging according to the invention particularly appreciable for distribution. of substances containing solid particles. In addition, the substance dispensed is not likely to be possibly altered by contact with springs, balls or other metallic organs.

La coiffe 57 sert de poussoir pour actionner le piston 52.In the variant shown in Figures 10 and 11, the base of a plug 47 is screwed onto the neck of a container 1 d. A dip tube 4e is fixed by its open end in a frustoconical collar 48 on the edge of the neck of the container 1d and is covered by a frangible cover 3c. The plug 47 is extended externally by a tubular part 49 in which the cylinder 51 of a suction-discharge pump 50 slides. In the cylinder 51 slides a piston 52 having an outer lip 53 in contact with the inner wall of the cylinder 51 and an inner lip 54 in the opposite direction, sliding against an axial rod 55 terminated by a open head 56, against which abuts at rest the end of a distribution channel 7b secured to a cap 57, sliding around a tubular part 49. The cap 57 serves as a pusher for actuating the piston 52.

The base of the rod 55 is fixed to the top of a cage 58 containing a ball 59 which serves as a non-return valve at the end of an axial tubular extension 60 of the cylinder 51 which serves as a perforating member, during the first use of the pump.

A spring 61 disposed between the piston 52 and the bottom of the cylinder 51 permanently biases the piston 52 towards a rest position where the end of the channel 7b comes to bear, in a sealed manner, against the head 56 of the rod 55 (as shown in solid lines in FIG. 10 and in dotted lines in FIG. 11).

The tubular extension 60 perforates the cover 3c and is applied in a sealed manner inside the frustoconical end piece, while a flange annular 62 at the end of the cylinder 51 comes to snap definitively inside an annular groove 63 at the end of the tubular part 49 (FIG. 11).

La pompe 50 est alors solidaire du bouchon 47 et demeure en place losqu'on relâche la pression sur la coiffe 57 et que celle-ci est ramnée en position de repos, indiquée en pointillés sur la figure 11.The pump 50 is then secured to the plug 47 and remains in place when the pressure is released on the cap 57 and the latter is brought back to the rest position, indicated by dotted lines in FIG. 11.

When the cap 57 is pressed, the piston 52 pushes the substance previously sucked inside the cylinder 51, through the distribution channel 7b, the end of which, thus distant from the head 56, opens freely to the outside. .

Of course, the invention is in no way limited to the embodiments described and shown, it is capable of numerous variants accessible to those skilled in the art, depending on the applications envisaged and without departing from the scope of the invention. 'invention.
