Description

The innovation relates to a grinding plate for a hand-held grinding machine equipped with dust extraction, with a supporting disc having a central pin for clamping in the grinding machine, on the side of which is remote from the pin, a disc body made of elastic material is arranged, which is equipped with openings for grinding dust extraction and on a disc made of abrasive cloth or the like abrasive material can be used, which has holes that are congruent with the openings.

In known grinding plates, the openings for grinding dust extraction are arranged on partial circles with different diameters. Sanding discs with four or eight perforations evenly distributed on a circular line are known which run at a relatively short radial distance around the center of the sanding disc. Grinding plates are also known, in which eight perforations are distributed over a circular line that runs relatively far outside in the vicinity of the outer circumference of the disk. Furthermore, grinding plates are also known, in which six openings are distributed over a circular line which runs approximately in the middle of the radial distance between the center and the outer circumference of the grinding plate.

When attaching discs made of abrasive cloth to the free surface of the disc body of a grinding disc, this is the half make sure that the holes in the disc made of abrasive cloth are made in such a way that they are congruent with the openings in the abrasive pad. Otherwise, the openings in the discs will be covered by the disc made of abrasive cloth and the dust extraction will be disabled. For each wheel made of abrasive cloth, the appropriate sanding pad must therefore be available before sanding can be started.

The innovation aims to design a sanding plate so that disks made of sanding lines can be attached with any hole pattern, without covering the openings in the sanding plates necessary for dust extraction.

According to the innovation, this object is achieved in that eight openings running transversely to the plane of the window body are arranged distributed on an inner circular line around the center, that a groove is formed in the free surface of the window body, which groove affects the eight openings, and that eight Depressions on an outer circular line around the center are formed in the free surface of the disk body and are connected to the periphery of the disk body and to the groove via approximately radial channels.

The inner circular line located near the center with the eight perforations distributed thereon enables the use of discs made of abrasive material with eight holes on a corresponding circular line or with four holes which are arranged distributed on the same circular line. The groove running around the center and molded into the surface of the disk body is arranged on a circular line which corresponds to the circular line on which six holes are arranged in a disk made of abrasive material. Since the groove affects the eight openings in the sanding plate, the passageway necessary for the dust extraction continues to exist when using a disc made of abrasive material with six holes, the grinding dust is first sucked through the holes in the disc into the groove and from there enters the openings in the grinding disc.

The eight depressions arranged on the outer circular line around the center of the wheel body make it possible to use a wheel made of abrasive material with eight holes arranged in the outer region through which grinding dust to be extracted can enter. Since the depressions are connected to the groove via approximately radially running channels, the function of dust extraction is maintained. The new grinding disc is therefore suitable for fitting with any disc made of grinding material and can be used for grinding work without affecting the working method, in particular the extraction of the grinding dust.

Since the approximately radially extending channels also connect the outer depressions to the periphery of the wheel body, grinding dust can advantageously also be extracted from the area of the outer circumference of the grinding wheel during the grinding work.

The depressions on the outer circular line can be shaped as blind holes. However, the depressions located on the outer circular line can also be the ends of grooves which branch off radially outwards starting from the circumferential groove.

When applying a disc made of abrasive material with any hole pattern, the areas not involved in the suction are covered by the disc made of abrasive material. The new arrangement of recesses, grooves and openings in the grinding plate has the advantage that the holes in the disc made of grinding material always ultimately with the openings for the suction of grinding dust are connected, whereby it does not depend on a special hole pattern of the discs made of abrasive material.

The channels that connect the recesses with the groove and / or with the periphery of the grinding plate are stitch holes running approximately in the plane of the disk body, which can be easily molded into the particularly elastic and thus soft material of the disk body.

In Fig. 1, the free uncovered underside of a sanding plate according to a first embodiment is shown in plan view, which can be covered with a disc made of sanding lines or the like sanding material. The disc made of abrasive material can be attached in a known manner, for example by gluing. Velcro bindings are also known. The disc-shaped grinding body 1 of the grinding plate consists of elastic material, for example plastic or rubber. A pin 3 is arranged in the center 2, with which the grinding plate can be clamped in the corresponding receptacle of a hand-held grinding machine. Eight openings 5 are arranged regularly distributed on an inner circular line 4 around the center 2 of the disk body. The openings run across the plane of the sanding plate and serve to extract sanding dust. In the free surface of the disc body 1, a groove 6 is formed around its center 2, which affects the eight openings 5. On a second outer circular line 7 around the center 2, regularly distributed recesses 8 are provided, which in this embodiment are the ends of grooves 9 which are branched off radially outward from the circumferential groove 6. The depressions 8 are thereby connected to the groove 6. With 10 channels are referred to, which are formed here as approximately in the plane of the disc body 1 tap holes 11. In this exemplary embodiment, the tap holes run between the depressions 8 and the outer periphery 12 of the grinding body 1.

In Fig. 2 the grinding plate is shown in a sectional view along the line II - II in Fig. 1. The same components are identified by the same reference numbers.
