Description

The invention relates to a stack of bags, consisting of rectangular film sections made of thermoplastic plastic, which are folded around themselves at their bottom folding edges, with side weld seams and on their opening sides with central grip holes and lateral corner pieces delimited by perforation lines, which have aligned stack holes.

Ein Beutelstapel dieser Art, bei dem zur Materialeinsparung auf den sonst üblichen, sich über die Beutelbreite erstreckenden und mit Aufhängelöchern versehenen Aufhängestreifen, von dem die Beutel längs einer Perforationslinie abgerissen werden, verzichtet worden ist, ist aus der DE-GMS 74 29 628 bekannt.DE-GMS 74 29 628 discloses a stack of bags of this type, in which, in order to save material, the usual hanging strips, which extend over the width of the bag and are provided with hanging holes and from which the bags are torn along a perforation line, have been dispensed with.

The object of the invention is to create a stack of bags of the type specified at the outset, which enables further material savings with easier handling.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in a bag stack of the generic type in that only the rear wall of each bag is provided with perforation lines delimiting its two upper corner areas and in that the bag front wall has cutouts in its corner areas which are approximately congruent with the corner areas of the rear wall. The stack of bags according to the invention enables a material saving of 50% compared to the known stack of bags, because only the rear walls of the bags are provided with corner areas serving for stacking and holding. Furthermore, the individual pouch can be more easily torn off the stack of pouches because only one perforation line covering a wall has to be severed for this purpose.

The perforation lines are expediently curved, preferably quarter-circular, with parts approximately perpendicular to the opening and side edges.

According to a special inventive embodiment, it is provided that the perforation lines have webs of different lengths, the web lengths being adapted to the course of force when the bags are torn off along the perforation lines and the possible curve shape of the perforation lines in such a way that tearing along the perforation line is ensured. This configuration is particularly advantageous and expedient for reasons of simple and economical production of the bags according to the invention. This is because the bags according to the invention are expediently produced starting from a flat plastic film web, the side parts of which are folded over onto the middle part in such a way that their side edges lie at a close distance from their center line. When editing this plastic film web folded in this way must absorb tensile stresses before the transverse welding of the individual bags and transmit them without substantial strains. During the manufacture of the bags, the tucked-in side parts of the plastic film web are weakened by semicircular punched-outs, so that further weakening of the middle part should also be avoided. Since the perforation lines have to be made in the middle part, the weakening cannot be completely dispensed with. According to the invention, the web lengths of the punched perforation lines are designed in such a way that weakening of the web is avoided as far as possible on the one hand, but on the other hand non-destructive tearing of the bags from the bag block is ensured.

The perforation lines can be arranged such that they have long material webs in the areas of the opening edge and the side edge of the bag and shorter material webs between them. This arrangement of the shorter and longer webs of material takes into account the tensile and shear stresses occurring in the web, so that the web is not subject to any noteworthy expansions in spite of the punched-in perforation lines.

Should the tearing of the pouch from the stack of bags occur in the area of the bag side edges, the longer material webs of the tear-off perforation lines can be accepted because this area is weakened anyway by the side weld seam.

The material webs expediently decrease in length from the long to the short, so that good tearing of the bags from the stack is ensured after the tearing at the side edges. When distributing the shorter and longer material webs, it should be noted that due to the material properties, the film tends to tear in a straight line. If the tear-off perforation line has a curved shape, shorter webs ensuring better tear-off should be provided, in particular in the area of curvature.

The upper edge of the opening side of the front wall of each bag expediently ends in front of the upper edge of the rear wall, so that the latter has an overlap-free strip. Such an embodiment of stacked bags is known per se from DE-OS 24 08 831.

In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the bags are blocked together in the stack in the region of the perforated corners. are. The blocking can also take place in the area of the stacking or hanging holes.

A method for producing the bags according to the invention is characterized in that the side parts of a plastic film web are folded over onto the middle part of the film in such a way that their side edges lie close together in front of their center line, so that the plastic film web folded in this way is intermittently one punched and one bag wide Welding stations are promoted in which the corner areas of the later rear walls of four bags lying side by side and in pairs in mirror image to each other are provided with a closed line with the perforation lines and with the stack holes, followed by the corner punching cutouts of the later bag front walls, then the finger hole punching and the bag side seams Cross-weld separating seams or cross-weld seams in pairs with cross-cuts lying between them and finally the bags still connected in pairs by along the middle cuts made on the plastic film web are never separated and stacked.

The cuts forming the tear-off perforation lines and corner punch cut-outs can be made by circumferential circular or elliptical cuts. However, the cut forming the corner punch cutouts is interrupted by the gap existing between the inward-tipped side edges of the web.

It is particularly favorable if the tear-off perforation lines are rectilinear in their end regions and are approximately at right angles on the side and opening edges. In a further embodiment of the invention it is therefore provided that the circumferential cutting lines or tear-off perforation lines are designed as square cutting lines with rounded corners or polygonal cutting lines such that the perforation lines entering the side and opening edges are approximately at right angles to these.

The stack of bags 1 consists of stacked bags 2 which have been formed from rectangular plastic film sections by folding around the bottom fold line 3 on themselves. The opening edges 4 of the front walls end at a distance from the opening edges 5 of the rear walls of the bags 2, so that overlapping strips 6 of the rear wall are formed on the opening side. In the area of the opening side, the bags 2 are provided in the middle with grip hole punchings 7 in the usual way. In the corner regions of the opening sides, the front walls of the bags 2 are provided with approximately quarter-circular punched-outs which are delimited by the cutting edges 8. The back walls are approximately congruent with these cut edges with quarter-circle perforation lines 9. The corner regions 10 of the rear walls, delimited by the perforation lines 9, are provided with punched holes 11 which are used for stacking and / or hanging the stacked bags 2.

From Fig. 2 it can be seen that the perforation lines 9 approximately perpendicular in the upper opening edges and in the lateral Shrink edges. The perforation lines 9 have longer material webs 1 2, 13 in the area of the opening edges 5 and in the area of the sides. The material webs 12, 13 are represented by solid lines. An area with shorter material webs is provided between the longer material webs 12, 13.

The cut edges 8 and the perforation lines 9 are arranged approximately congruently. In the drawing they are shown offset from one another for the sake of clarity.

The individual bags 2 are provided in the usual way with side welds.

To tear off a bag 2 from the bag stack 1, the latter is gripped and pulled off the bag stack 1 in the direction of arrow A.

The manufacture of the bags will now be briefly explained with reference to FIG. 3.

To produce the bags, the side parts 15, 16 of a plastic film web are knocked onto the middle part 17 around the folded edges 3, in such a way that the inner side edges 18, 19 lie at a distance from the center line 20. The double-folded web 21 prepared in this way is then conveyed by a conveyor in a known manner intermittently by steps corresponding to a bag width through the punching station 22, in which the corner configurations of the later bags are punched.

The punching device consists of a knife plate 23 which is fixed to the frame and which is provided with four punching tools 24 with an annular cutting edge for punching the stacking or holding holes 11 and with perforation knives 25 enclosing them in a circular manner is provided, which serve to punch the perforation lines 9. In order to punch out the stacking or hanging holes 11 and the circumferential perforation lines 9 enclosing them, the abutment plate 26 is lowered onto the corresponding central part 17 of the plastic film web 21. The abutment plate 26 is attached to its actuation on the piston rod 28 of the cylinder 29 fixed to the frame. The upper side of the abutment plate 26 serves as an abutment for the likewise circularly arranged knives 30 which are arranged on the knife plate 31. The knife plate 31 is actuated by the piston rods 32, 33 of cylinders 34, 35, which are fastened to a holding plate 36, which in turn are fastened on the piston rod 28 of the cylinder 29.

The gap formed between the side edges 18, 19 of the film web 21 is so wide; that it is able to accommodate the piston rod 28, so that the abutment plate 26 can be inserted between the middle part 17 and the turned-in side parts 15, 16 of the film web 21.

The cylinders 29, 34, 35 are provided in a manner not shown with supply hoses through which a pressure medium, for example oil or compressed air, is supplied.

The ring-shaped knife 30 arranged on the underside of the knife plate 31 punches the corner cutouts 8 into the later corner areas of the folded-in web parts.

The width of the cutters 25 which cut the perforations 9 is such that the perforation cut has long web parts 12 in the transverse direction of the web and short web parts 13 in the longitudinal direction of the web.

The individual bags are later welded off from the web 21 provided with the corresponding corner configurations along the dashed cross lines 40 by cross-weld separating seams. The double bags connected in this way in the area of the center line are later separated from one another by longitudinal cuts.

The finger hole punchings 7 can be punched with the cross weld separating seams or else separately.

Fig. 5 shows a plan view of a plastic film sheet 41, which is provided in the corner areas of the still connected bags with a square circumferential perforation punch cut 42 and an approximately congruent cut along a cutting line 43, which in the area of the longitudinal center line 20 of the film web through the between the inner edges 44, 45 of the formed web parts gap is interrupted.

The square perforation cuts and cutouts have rounded corners such that they open at right angles in the manner shown in the later opening edges and side edges of the bags.

The perforation cuts 42 are made in the area of the side edges and opening edges of the later bags with longer webs and between them with shorter webs.

In den dargestellten Winkelbereichen, die die späteren Öffnungsränder und Seitenkanten der Beutel einschließen, sind die Stege der Perforationsstanzschnitte jeweils 0,5 mm lang und zwischen diesen nur 0,3 mm lang ausgeführt.FIG. 4 shows a top view of a plastic film web which is provided in the area of the corners of the still connected bags with a round perforated punch cut 46 and a roughly identical, likewise round cutout 47. In the angular ranges shown, which include the later opening edges and side edges of the bags the webs of the perforation punch cuts each 0.5 mm long and only 0.3 mm long between them.

Die auf den späteren Öffnungsrändern und Seitenkanten der Beutel etwa senkrecht stehenden Schenkel der Perforationsstanzlinien sind mit längeren Stegen ausgebildet.6 shows a plan view of a plastic film web which is provided with an octagonal perforation cut 48 and an approximately congruent cutout 49 in the area of the still connected corners of the later bags. The octagonal shape of the perforation punch cuts ensures that they open into the later opening edges and side edges of the bags with relatively long legs. The legs of the perforation punch lines, which are approximately vertical on the later opening edges and side edges of the bags, are formed with longer webs.

Durch Druckfedern 58 ist die Widerlagerplatte 56 in ihrer oberen Lage gehalten.7, a second embodiment of a device for punching the corner formations of the later bags will now be explained in more detail. A knife plate 51 is fastened to a carrier 50 of the frame with a circular perforation knife 52. Above this perforation knife 52, a holder 55 for an abutment plate .56, which covers the perforation knife 52, is fastened to guide bolts 53, 54. The guide bolts 53, 54 are guided in the bores of a guide plate 57 of the frame so as to be longitudinally displaceable. The abutment plate 56 is held in its upper position by compression springs 58.

A circular punching knife 60 is fastened to the piston rod 61 of the pneumatic cylinder 62 above the abutment plate 56.

The guide bolts 53, 54 engage between the gap which is formed between the inner edges of the folded-in side parts of the film web 45, so that the abutment plate 56 lies between the middle part and the turned-in side parts of the film web 45.

If the circular punching knife 60 is lowered via the piston rod 61, this encounters the upper side of the abutment plate 56, which is stabilized and taken away by further lowering the punching knife 60 until it lies on the serrated rim of the lower circular perforation punching knife 52. The punched cutouts and the execution of the circumferential tear perforation line are then carried out by appropriate pressure exerted by the pneumatic cylinder 62.

After lifting the upper punching knife 60, the abutment plate 56 also lifts off the lower perforation knife 52 under the action of the compression springs, so that the web 45 can be moved intermittently.

Punching tools 65 are provided for executing the suspension holes and are fastened to the piston rod of a pneumatic cylinder 67 via a carrier plate 66. The punching tools 65 pass through the knife plate 51 and the abutment plate 56 in corresponding bores which also serve as guides. During the execution of the punch cuts and the formation of the circumferential perforation lines, the punch tools 65 are extended and returned to punch the hanging holes.
