Ihre Herstellung in den benötigten Mengen ist mit wirtschaftlich vertretbaretn Aufwand in der Regel nur mit Strangpressen möglich, wobei große, nahezu unbegrenzte Längen geradlinig gestreckter biPgsampr Profilleisten bzw. stränge anfallen. Für die Bedürfnisse der Praxis sind die im fertig vulkanisierten Zustand angelieferten Dichtungsstreifen in abgemessenen Längenabschnitten zuzuschneiden und durch Verbinden ihrer Enden untereinander zu ringartig in sich geschlossenen Dichtungsrahmen vorzuformen. Da diP Rahmen schon beim Einbauen unvermeidlich starken Zugspannunten unterworfen werden, ist die einwandfreie Beschaffenheit der V#rbindungsstelle von grober Bedeutung für die Gebrauchstüchtigkait dor D#chtungen.
