Abstract

Inserting rod for profiled shelf supports is used with metal shelving systems. The profile of the inserting rod is shaped as a drawn out profile with a rectangular complete inner ledge, an indentation and an inclined oblique outer ledge with its drawn out face side surface projecting beyond the plane of the shelf support stand. The inclination of the outer ledge is approx. 45 deg. and corresponds with the outlet shapes of the shelf support stand. There are elongated rectangular recesses worked into the outer ledge for the reception of the shelf console projections. Strong interlocking is obtained.
