Abstract
Se proveen plantas de tabaco modificadas con niveles reducidos de nitrato y productos de tabaco generados a partir de las plantas de tabaco modificadas con nitrosaminas específicas del tabaco (TSNA) reducidas. También se proveen métodos para reducir TSNA en productos de tabaco alterando la expresión de genes de la vía de asimilación de nitrato.
