技术领域
本公开涉及一种连接器,更特别地,本公开涉及一种具有用于保护电路元件免受静电放电(ESD))或过电应力(EOS)影响的保护元件的连接器。

背景技术
连接器是用于通过连接电气设备和电线或连接电线和电线来构造电路的连接机构。通常,连接器包括通过插座方式彼此连接的一对阴连接器和阳连接器。对应于触点的多个阴连接器插脚被安设在阴连接器处,并且与所述多个阴连接器插脚形成接触的多个阳连接器插脚被安设在阳连接器处。例如,阳连接器可以借助于SMT(表面安装器技术)被联接到印刷电路板(PCB)的表面,并且阴连接器可以与阳连接器互补地紧固。
同时,除了调解与多个板或其它端子的连接的连接器之外,PCB(印刷电路板)还包括各种芯片和部件。近来,随着电子产品的功能的多样化,PCB中所包括的元件也正在变得更复杂。
随着如上所述PCB电路构造变得更复杂,电气干扰(例如,电磁干扰(EMI)、静电放电(ESD))或过电应力(EOS)正在增加。电气干扰或过电应力可能导致PCB自身发生故障,并且导致PCB的特定元件的功能劣化或处理速度降低。
因此,为了保护特定元件(例如BMS芯片)免受ESD或EOS的影响,如图1所示,保护元件3(诸如用于防止连接器1附近的静电的可变电阻器和用于防止瞬态电压的TVS(瞬态电压抑制器)二极管)被置放在PCB 2上。
然而,如上所述,PCB的电路构造正在变得更复杂,但是电子产品的外观正在变得更紧凑,因此PCB上的将要安装部件的空间不足。因此,通过减少甚至一个小部件来确保安装区域正在成为问题。
发明内容
技术问题
本公开旨在解决相关技术的问题,因此,本公开旨在将用于防止ESD或EOS的保护元件直接安设到连接器,以节省PCB上的部件安装空间。
技术方案
在本公开的一个方面,提供了一种被安装在印刷电路板(PCB)上的连接器,该连接器包括:连接器外罩;第一端子,该第一端子被置放在所述连接器外罩的内部空间中;第二端子,该第二端子被构造成在从所述第一端子分离的状态下从所述连接器外罩的内侧延伸到所述连接器外罩的外侧,并且被焊接到所述PCB;和保护元件,该保护元件被构造成将所述第一端子和第二端子电连接,并且被安装到所述连接器外罩的一侧。
所述保护元件可以具有ESD防护功能、EOS防护功能和EMI防护功能中的至少一种。

因此,本文中所提出的描述仅是出于示意目的的优选示例,而非旨在限制本公开的范围,因此应当理解,在不脱离本公开的范围的情况下,能够对其做出其它等同方案和变型。
在随后的描述中,印刷电路板(PCB)2可以是指被应用于车辆的电池组的BMS电路板2。这里,所述BMS电路板是电池组的部件,用于控制电池单体的充电和放电以及单体平衡。
根据本公开的连接器可以用于将二次电池单体的电压信息传输到BMS芯片。这里,本公开的范围不限于该用途。即,根据本公开的连接器还可以用于将各种信号传输线缆连接到诸如膝上型计算机、平板电脑和智能电话这样的电气工具。
图2是示出根据本公开实施例的连接器的示意性立体图,图3是示出图2的连接器的局部分解立体图,图4是沿着图2的I-I’线截取的截面视图。
参考这些视图,根据本公开实施例的连接器100包括:连接器外罩10;第一端子30,该第一端子30被置放在所述连接器外罩10的内部空间中;第二端子40,该第二端子40在与所述第一端子30分离的状态下从所述连接器外罩10的内侧延伸到所述连接器外罩10的外侧,并且被焊接到PCB 2;和保护元件20,该保护元件20被构造成将所述第一端子30和第二端子40电连接,并且被安装到所述连接器外罩10的一侧。
如图2所示,所述连接器100可以被置放在PCB 2的一侧的边缘区域处,并且可以以插入的方式被连接到线缆连接器200和从线缆连接器200断开。尽管为了绘图的方便而未详细示出,但是所述连接器100的第二端子40被焊接到PCB 2上的导体图案,并且该导体图案可以被连接到BMS芯片(ASIC)。
所述连接器外罩10是用于保护所述第一端子30和第二端子40免受外部冲击并且用于稳定地连接并固定作为配对物的线缆连接器200的结构。所述连接器外罩10例如通过注射成型而由具有绝缘性能的塑料材料制成。
所述连接器外罩10包括上板11,该上板11被平坦地设置,使得保护元件20可以被平直地放置在该上板11上。作为另一个示例,也可以根据保护元件20的底表面的形状而在所述连接器外罩10的上板11的表面处形成凹陷部分,使得所述保护元件20被放置在该凹陷部分中,以增强固定性。另外,插脚插入孔13可以被进一步设置在所述连接器外罩10的上板11中。所述插脚插入孔13被形成为在上下方向上穿过所述连接器外罩10的上板11,并且所述保护元件20的元件插脚可以通过所述插脚插入孔13被插入所述连接器外罩10中。
所述保护元件20是能够防止连接器100周围的其它元件的故障和损坏的电气部件,并且可以具有ESD防护功能、EOS防护功能和EMI防护功能中的至少一种。例如,所述保护元件20可以采用具有ESD防护功能的可变电阻器、具有EOS防护功能的TVS(瞬态电压抑制器)二极管等。
参考图3和图4,所述保护元件20包括元件本体21和元件插脚。
所述元件本体21可以被实施为长方体形状的芯片的形式,并且可以被附接到所述连接器外罩10的上板11的表面。优选地,使用粘结剂将所述元件本体21结合到所述连接器外罩10的上板11的表面,使得即使通过振动或冲击,所述保护元件20也不容易从所述连接器外罩10分离。
所述元件插脚包括位于所述元件本体21的左侧处的第一元件插脚23和位于所述元件本体21的右侧处的第二元件插脚25。所述第一元件插脚23和第二元件插脚25可以以分别对应于所述连接器外罩10中所采用的第一端子30和第二端子40的数目来设置。
特别地,在根据该实施例的连接器100中,与传统的连接器100不同的是,端子被划分成第一端子30和第二端子40。即,端子被划分成两部分,即第一端子30和第二端子40,并且所述第一端子30和第二端子40仅通过保护元件20被电连接。
例如,在所述保护元件20中,所述元件本体21被放置在所述连接器外罩10的上板11上,并且所述第一元件插脚23和第二元件插脚25通过所述插脚插入孔13被插入所述连接器外罩10中。被插入的第一元件插脚23以一对一的关系与第一端子30接触,并且被插入的第二元件插脚25以一对一的关系与第二端子40接触。
因此,当用作配对物的线缆连接器200被插入到根据该实施例的连接器100中时,电流以第一端子30、保护元件20和第二端子40的顺序流动,因此能够阻止在所述连接器100自身处的意外的电涌、ESD或EOS。
再次参考图4,根据该实施例的第一端子30可以对应于现有端子的前端,并且第二端子40可以对应于现有端子的后端。所述第二端子40可以穿过所述连接器外罩10、在外侧处弯曲然后通过焊接被固定到PCB 2的导体图案上。
由于所述第一端子30与第二端子40断开连接,因此要求用于将所述第一端子30支撑在一定高度处的结构。为此,在本公开的连接器100中,所述第一端子30被构造成包括第一竖直部31和第一水平部33,该第一竖直部31从所述连接器外罩10的下板12竖直地延伸,该第一水平部33从所述第一竖直部31的顶端水平地延伸。
另外,所述第一端子30可以进一步包括第一凹槽35,该第一凹槽35被凹形地形成在所述第一竖直部31与第一水平部33的交叉处。所述第一凹槽35可以用于装配所述第一元件插脚23的端部。
而且,所述第二端子40被构造成包括第二水平部43和第二竖直部41,该第二水平部43在与第一水平部33的共轴线上水平地延伸,该第二竖直部41在所述第二水平部43的一端处弯曲并被连接到PCB2。
类似于第一端子30,所述第二端子40可以进一步包括第二凹槽45,该第二凹槽45被凹形地形成在所述第二水平部43的一侧处。类似于第一凹槽35,所述第二凹槽45可以用于装配所述第二元件插脚25的端部。
所述第一凹槽35被形成在所述第一竖直部31与第一水平部33的交叉处,使得所述保护元件20的第一元件插脚23被竖直地插入到第一端子30中,以防止第一端子30扭曲或倾斜。出于与所述第一凹槽35相同的目的,所述第二凹槽45被形成在第二水平部43处,并且可以在所述第二凹槽45的下方进一步设置用于支撑所述第二水平部43的增强部44。
如果使用集成有根据本公开实施例的保护元件20的连接器100,则能够节省用于在现有技术中已经被安装在连接器100周围的保护元件20的空间,并且还能够阻止在连接器100自身处从外侧施加的外部电击。
图5是示出根据本公开另一实施例的连接器的示意性立体图。
接下来,将参考图5简要地描述本公开的另一实施例。与先前实施例中相同的附图标记表示相同的部件,并且将仅详细描述与先前实施例不同的特征,而不再描述相同的部件。
在根据先前实施例的连接器100中,保护元件20被设置在连接器外罩10的外侧处。然而,在根据该实施例的连接器100中,保护元件20A被设置为被包括在连接器外罩10中。
另外,根据该实施例的连接器100的保护元件20A没有元件插脚,而是被构造成使得第一端子30和第二端子40被直接连接到所述保护元件20A。
在这种情况下,由于所述第一端子30可以经由所述保护元件20A被连接到第二端子40,因此可以省略第一竖直部31。代替地,可以通过设置支撑构件27来确保结构稳定性,该支撑构件27从保护元件20A的底端向下延伸,并且被连接到所述连接器外罩10的下板12或者穿过所述连接器外罩10的下板12被连接到PCB 2上。所述支撑构件27用于在所述连接器外罩10内将所述保护元件20A支撑在一定高度处。所述支撑构件27可以在必要时用作接地线。
在如上所述的根据该实施例的连接器100中,由于所述保护元件20A完全位于所述连接器外罩10的内侧,因此即使施加了振动或外部冲击,也没有诸如元件插脚的断裂或保护元件20的移除的问题。
同时,根据本公开的电池组可以被构造成包括上述连接器100。连接器100可以被安设在电池组的BMS电路板2处。BMS电路板2是电池组的电气部件,用于控制电池单体的充电/放电和单体平衡。
除了连接器100、BMS电路板2和电池单体之外,电池组可以进一步包括用于管理电池单体的温度的冷却装置、诸如保险丝和继电器这样的用于控制电流的流动的控制装置和用于封装部件的电池组盒体等。
已经详细描述了本公开。然而,应该理解,详细描述和具体示例虽然指示了本公开的优选实施例,但是仅以示意的方式给出,因为根据该详细描述,在本公开的范围内的各种修改和变型对于本领域技术人员而言将是显而易见的。
同时,即使在说明书中使用了表达方向的术语诸如“上”、“下”、“左”和“右”,它们也只是为了方便描述,并且对于本领域技术人员而言显而易见的是,能够取决于观察者或对象的位置而被不同地表达。
Claims (12)
1.一种被安装在印刷电路板(PCB)上的连接器,所述连接器包括:
连接器外罩;
第一端子,所述第一端子被置放在所述连接器外罩的内部空间中;
第二端子,所述第二端子被构造成在与所述第一端子分离的状态下从所述连接器外罩的内侧延伸到所述连接器外罩的外侧,并且被焊接到所述印刷电路板(PCB);和
保护元件,所述保护元件被构造成将所述第一端子和所述第二端子电连接,并且被安装到所述连接器外罩的一侧。
2.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,其中,所述保护元件具有静电放电(ESD)防护功能、过电应力(EOS)防护功能和电磁干扰(EMI)防护功能中的至少一种。
3.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,其中,所述连接器外罩具有插脚插入孔,所述插脚插入孔被形成为在上下方向上穿过所述连接器外罩的上板,
所述保护元件包括元件本体和元件插脚,所述元件插脚从所述元件本体延伸,
所述元件本体被附接到所述连接器外罩的所述上板的表面,并且
所述元件插脚穿过所述插脚插入孔与所述第一端子或所述第二端子形成接触。
4.根据权利要求3所述的连接器,
其中,所述元件插脚包括位于所述元件本体的左侧处的第一元件插脚和位于所述元件本体的右侧处的第二元件插脚,并且
所述第一元件插脚以一对一的关系与所述第一端子形成接触,所述第二元件插脚以一对一的关系与所述第二端子形成接触。
5.根据权利要求3所述的连接器,其中,所述元件本体被结合到所述连接器外罩的所述上板的所述表面。
6.根据权利要求4所述的连接器,其中,所述第一端子包括:
第一竖直部,所述第一竖直部被构造成从所述连接器外罩的下板竖直地延伸;和
第一水平部,所述第一水平部被构造成从所述第一竖直部的顶端水平地延伸。
7.根据权利要求6所述的连接器,
其中,所述第一端子进一步包括第一凹槽,所述第一凹槽被凹形地形成在所述第一竖直部与所述第一水平部的交叉处,并且
所述第一元件插脚被装配到所述第一凹槽中。
8.根据权利要求7所述的连接器,其中,所述第二端子包括:
第二水平部,所述第二水平部被构造成在与所述第一水平部的共轴线上水平地延伸;和
第二竖直部,所述第二竖直部从所述第二水平部的端部弯曲,并且被连接到所述印刷电路板(PCB)。
9.根据权利要求8所述的连接器,
其中,所述第二端子进一步包括第二凹槽,所述第二凹槽被凹形地形成在所述第二水平部的一侧处,并且
所述第二元件插脚被装配到所述第二凹槽中。
10.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,
其中,所述保护元件被设置在所述连接器外罩中,所述第一端子被连接到所述保护元件的一侧,所述第二端子被连接到所述保护元件的另一侧。
11.根据权利要求10所述的连接器,
其中,所述保护元件进一步包括支撑构件,所述支撑构件被构造成从所述保护元件的底端向下延伸,以被连接到所述连接器外罩的所述下板或者穿过所述连接器外罩的所述下板被连接到所述印刷电路板(PCB)上。
12.一种电池组,所述电池组包括根据权利要求1到11中的任一项所述的连接器。
