The liquid pet food in the current market mainly comprises dairy products such as cow milk, goat milk and the like and meat pulp products, wherein the dairy products generally contain lactose and are not suitable for feeding pet animals with lactose intolerance; the applicable scenes of the meat pulp products also have limitations, the meat pulp products are not friendly to pets which have difficulty in digestion and absorption in the postoperative recovery period and other scenes, and the palatability is poor because the bitter peptides have certain bitter taste.
In order to solve the limitation of the current pet liquid food market and enrich the product form, the invention develops the pet polypeptide nutrient solution which has good palatability, high digestibility and balanced nutrition, meets the national staple food standard of dogs and cats and is suitable for dogs and cats in various stages and various health states, and the preparation method and the application thereof.

"palatability" as referred to herein refers to the relative preference of a pet for one of a food or food composition over another, palatability referring to the overall willingness of an animal to consume a food. Palatability also refers to the ability of the food to be consumed to satisfy the animal, advantageously but not necessarily. Whenever an animal, for example, one of two or more foods, exhibits a preference, the preferred food is more "palatable" and has "enhanced palatability. The relative palatability of one food product compared to other food products may be measured, for example, by the relative consumption of the food products, as determined, for example, in side-by-side, freely-selected comparisons. It may be advantageously determined by a standard test protocol, such as the test known as the "two bowl test", in which the animal has equal chance of approaching both compositions. Such preferences may be derived from any animal perception, but are typically associated with, inter alia, taste, aroma, flavor, texture, odor, or mouthfeel.

Test example 2
Palatability evaluation test-two bowl test:
this test example evaluates the relative palatability of pet polypeptide nutritional liquids prepared in example 1 and comparative examples 1-6. Principle of "double bowl" test: the test is based on the following assumptions: the more the food is consumed, the more palatable it is. 60 labrador dogs of 3 months old (with substantially identical body forms and health conditions) growing under the same breeding standard and the same feeding environment are selected and randomly divided into six groups of 10 dogs each, namely, A, B, C, D, E and F, and the products of example 1 in each group are compared with the products of comparative examples 1 to 6 respectively.
All test dogs were kept in the same environment, free-moving, free-drinking, and the same amount of product from example 1 and comparative example 1 (or comparative examples 2-6) was weighed into the same bowl, the amount present in each ration being sufficient for the daily requirements, and the bowl was placed in a separate feeder accessible to the dog. The test was performed for a total of 3 days, once a day, with a time of 40min per test (if one of the two bowls was completely eaten before the end of the test, both bowls were removed and the test was stopped).
The proportions consumed by the individuals at the end of the test were calculated in% for the examples and comparative examples, respectively, and the average of all the individual proportions was calculated. CR Examples = consumption of example (g) × 100/(consumption of example + comparative example) (g); CR Comparative example Consumption of comparative example (g) × 100/(consumption of example + comparative example) (g). The results are shown in Table 2.
TABLE 2
As can be seen from the data in Table 2, the pet polypeptide nutrient solution provided by the invention can significantly improve the palatability of the product through the matching combination of taurine, glycine and glutamic acid, and compared with the situation that any one component or a single component is absent, the combination mode can significantly improve the palatability of the product, so that the pet shows more obvious preference.

All test cats were kept in the same environment, freely moved, freely drunk water, and fed regularly three times a day. Group a was fed the product of example 1, group B was fed the product of example 2, group C was fed the product of example 3, group D was fed the product of example 4, and group E was fed the product of comparative example 7.
Taking the rest of the diet away based on the free intake of 15 min. The body weight was weighed every two days, and the fecal status of the test cats was observed daily during the test period and recorded. Stool scoring was performed for the test period of 60 days, at 20, 40, and 60 days, respectively, according to the stool scoring system of the wehao @ research center, and the results showed average values, as shown in table 4.
TABLE 4
Group of | 20 days | 40 days | 60 days |
A | 2.5 | 3 | 3 |
