Abstract

The present invention provides a group ringing back tone system and the service implementation method thereof, wherein the group ringing back tone system is realized by increasing a ringing back tone platform in the service system of the existing group switchboard. The present invention has a basic principle that when a service platform of the group switchboard receives a call connecting signaling at the calling side, the call is connected to the called extension side; after the service platform of the group switchboard receives a response signaling which is returned by the called extension side, the connection between the service platform of the group switchboard and the called extension side is blocked, and the service platform of the group switchboard establishes the connection with the arranged ringing back tone platform. The existing system for providing group switchboard service is realized by introducing a group switchboard service platform into the existing communication network, and the system structure is shown in fig. 1, and mainly comprises a calling gateway mobile switching center/mobile switching center (GMSC/MSC), a switchboard Home Location Register (HLR), a group switchboard service platform, a switching GMSC/MSC, a called extension HLR, a called extension visited MSC and the like. The mobile switchboard number is registered in the switchboard HLR and forwarded to the address of the group switchboard service platform unconditionally. The call flow based on the system is as follows: calling user dials group telephone exchange number, then calling GMSC/MSC sends routing request containing said group telephone exchange number to telephone exchange HLR; when the switchboard HLR receives the routing request and judges that the group user corresponding to the group switchboard number registers unconditional forwarding, the forwarding number which represents the address of the group switchboard service platform is directly returned to the calling GMSC/MSC. Group users often have greater promotional needs for business development than individual users. Therefore, how to provide a personalized ring back tone service with group characteristics for group users, namely, the group ring back tone service, becomes a problem to be solved urgently at present.

f. when the called extension user answers the phone, the called call connection unit returns the call answer signaling to the group switchboard service platform;
g. after receiving the call response signaling returned by the called side call connection unit, the group switchboard service platform reactivates the call path connection with the called side call connection unit, sends a ring back tone playing stopping instruction to the ring back tone platform, and removes the connection with the ring back tone platform.
