Abstract

La presente invención proporciona anticuerpos ampliamente neutralizantes contra el SARS-CoV-2, novedosos o el fragmento de unión al antígeno de ellos. Los anticuerpos contra el SARS-CoV-2 divulgados constituyen una estrategia terapéutica novedosa en la protección contra la infección por el SARS-CoV-2. Reivindicación 1: Un anticuerpo anti-SARS-CoV-2 aislado o un fragmento de unión a antígeno del mismo que se une específicamente a un antígeno del SARS-CoV-2. Reivindicación 18: Una composición farmacéutica que comprende el anticuerpo o fragmento de unión a antígeno del mismo de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones precedentes y opcionalmente un portador o excipiente farmacéuticamente aceptable. Reivindicación 24: Una molécula de ácido nucleico que codifica una cadena polipeptídica del anticuerpo o fragmento de unión a antígeno del mismo de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 17. Reivindicación 25: Un vector que comprende la molécula de ácido nucleico de la reivindicación 24. Reivindicación 26: Una célula huésped cultivada que comprende el vector de acuerdo con la reivindicación 25. Reivindicación 27: Un método para preparar un anticuerpo, o una porción del mismo que se une a un antígeno, que comprende: obtener la célula huésped cultivada de la reivindicación 26; cultivar la célula huésped cultivada en un medio en condiciones que permitan la expresión de un polipéptido codificado por el vector y ensamblar un anticuerpo o fragmento del mismo; y purificar el anticuerpo o fragmento de la célula cultivada o el medio de la célula. Reivindicación 40: Un método para detectar la presencia de SARS-CoV-2 en una muestra que comprende: poner en contacto una muestra con el anticuerpo o fragmento de unión a antígeno del mismo de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 17; y determinar la unión del anticuerpo o el fragmento de unión al antígeno a uno o más antígenos del SARS-CoV-2, en donde la unión del anticuerpo a uno o más antígenos de SARS-CoV-2 es indicativa de la presencia de SARS-CoV-2 en la muestra.
