Abstract

Receptores de antígenos quiméricos (CAR) que son proteínas quiméricas recombinantes capaces de redirigir la especificidad y la reactividad de células inmunes hacia determinados antígenos de membrana y, más particularmente, en los cuales el ligando de unión extracelular es un scFV derivado de un anticuerpo monoclonal GD3, que confiere una inmunidad específica contra células positivas para GD3. Las células inmunes manipuladas genéticamente dotadas de tales CAR son particularmente adecuadas para el tratamiento de tumores sólidos tales como melanomas, carcinomas, o tumores líquidos como la leucemia linfoblástica de células T.
