Abstract

The bathing hat incorporates on its inner edge a hollow air ring (3) which has a valve through which air under pressure can be introduced. It also has a hose column (4). The hat (1) and the ring (3) form a flexible entity, and around the inside of the hat edge, at the location of the ring (3), is a non-elastic strip (2). At the under edge, the cap proper is fixed around the air ring (3). An alternative form is for the cap (1) and air ring (3) to be separate, the ring being firstly placed around the head, and then the cap (1) fitted over it.
