Abstract

The hood (1), which is preferably padded, can be used along or can be fixed to a padded jacket or coat (2). A frontal band (3), made of an elastic fabric sewn to the interior of the hood, holds the hood on the head but allows the head to be turned freely. A detachable mouth protector (4) is fitted on the vertical edges (5) on each side of the hood. It is fixed by bands of auto adhesive material, each band having respectively either minute hooks or minute loops.
