Abstract

En la presente se describen métodos para procesar aleaciones de aluminio 7xxx a través de una etapa de envejecimiento previo rápido, así como aleaciones preparadas de acuerdo con los métodos. Los productos de aleación de aluminio descritos en la presente tienen una alta resistencia cuando se los somete a una etapa de envejecimiento previo rápido, como se describió anteriormente, y un tratamiento térmico posterior, como secado de pintura al horno o revestimiento de pintura. Las aleaciones preparadas y procesadas de acuerdo con los métodos descritos en la presente se pueden utilizar, por ejemplo, en aplicaciones automotrices, de transporte, electrónicas e industriales.
