Abstract
La tecnología descrita se enfoca en los datos expandidos que se devuelven, más allá de los datos que se solicitan de manera específica, a un cliente, con el objetivo de reducir o eliminar las solicitudes subsecuentes posibles para más datos. Las solicitudes del cliente para elementos de datos se procesan a través de la lógica de reglas de expansión con el objetivo de encontrar un conjunto de reglas de expansión (por ejemplo: un archivo) correspondiente al elemento de datos identificado. El conjunto de reglas se usa para expandir solicitudes para ciertos elementos de datos dentro de solicitudes expandidas que devuelven más elementos de datos que aquellos solicitados. Los dispositivos cliente reciben, almacenan y (con frecuencia) usan los elementos de datos expandidos almacenados, lo cual por ende reduce el número global de solicitudes al servicio de datos. Las reglas de expansión se pueden basar en observaciones (por ejemplo: aprendizaje automático y/o manual) de patrones de solicitudes, con el objetivo de predecir de manera razonable qué elemento de datos o clientes de elementos necesitarán posiblemente el siguiente, y devolverán esos como elementos de datos expandidos de anticipación a necesitarse.
