Abstract

trata-se de um sistema que constrói uma hierarquia para dispositivos de campo acoplados de modo comunicativo a uma unidade terminal remota (rtu) através da recuperação de informações de dispositivo a partir de dispositivos de campo, do armazenamento em cache das informações de dispositivo na memória da rtu, do armazenamento de identidades de dispositivo na memória de uma máquina hospedeira, e da obtenção das informações de dispositivo no hospedeiro a partir da rtu em resposta a solicitações de usuário subsequentes para construir a hierarquia, sem reenviar comandos para recuperar as informações de dispositivo diretamente para os dispositivos de campo.
