Abstract
Se proporciona un TPU hidrofóbico claro al hacer reaccionar (a) un poliol hidrofóbico hecho de ácido graso dimerizado, (b) una mezcla de extendedores de cadena de un extendedor de cadena de diol lineal y un extendedor de cadena de diol ramificada y (c) un diisocianato. El poiioi preferido es un ácido graso de dímero de C36 reaccionado con 1,6-hexano diol. La mezcla de extendedores de cadena preferida es una mezcla de relación en peso de 75:25 de 1,12-dodecano diol y 2- butil-2-etil propano diol. El procedo preferido para hacer el TPU es un proceso por lotes que inicia la reacción entre aproximadamente 60°C a 70°C.
