Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para preparar una espuma rígida, de celdas cerradas, a base de poliisocianato, que comprende poner en contacto y hacer reaccionar un poliisocianato orgánico con un compuesto que contiene hidrógeno activo, en presencia de agua y un agente soplador, caracterizado porque el agente soplador comprende uno o más compuestos de halogenocarbono que tienen un punto de ebullición de 222 a 272 grados K y está sustancialmente libre de un compuesto orgánico que tenga un puntod e ebullición de 273 grados K o superior. Una composición reactiva de isocianato, que comprende a) por lo menos un compuesto que comprende a) por lo menos un compuesto que contiene hidrógeno activo, que tiene un peso equivalente de 50 a 700 y b) de 1 a 25 por ciento en peso con base en el peso total de los componentes (a) y (b) presentes, de un agente soplador, caracterizado porque el agente soplador comprende uno o más compuesto sde halogenocarbono que tienen un punto de ebullición de 222 a 272 grados K y esta sustancialmente libre de un compuesto orgánico que tenga un punto de ebullición de 273 grados K o superior, Una espuma rígida de celdas cerradas, a base de poliisocianato, preparada poniendo en contacto y haciendo reaccionar un poliisocianato orgánico con un compuesto que contiene hidrógeno activo en presencia de agua y de un agente soplador, caracterizada porque la espuma resultante contiene dentro de sus celdas una mezcla gaseosa que comprende; a) de 10 a 75 por ciento molar, con base en el total de los moles de (a)y (b) de uno o más compuestos orgánicos que tienen un punto de ebullición de 22 a 273 grados K y (b) de 25 a 90 por ciento molar con base en el total de los moles (a) y (b) de dióxido de carbono y que está sustancialmente libre de un compuesto orgánico que está sustancialmente libre de un compuesto orgánico que tenga un punto de ebullición de 273 grados k o superior.
