The official website of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T (A Certain Scientific Railgun T) television anime added three new cast members and unveiled a new key visual (pictured) on Monday. The new characters are introduced in the Dream Ranker arc, which will be adapted in the second half of the anime.

Cast
Ryouko Kuriba: Atsumi Tanezaki (High School Fleet)
Shaei Miyama: Mayu Mineda (Hoshiai no Sora)
Rakko Yumiya: Sayumi Suzuhiro (High Score Girl)

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T, directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai at J.C.Staff, is the third season in the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun series. It began airing in January 2020 and is planned for 25 episodes, with Crunchyroll simulcasting the series. The 13th episode was originally scheduled to air on April 24 but was postponed due to COVID-19. The anime's official website announced on Monday that episode 13 will be broadcast on May 1.

The TV anime adapts Kazuma Kamachi and Motoi Fuyukawa's sci-fi spin-off manga of the Toaru Majutsu no Index light novel series. Dengeki Daioh has published the story since 2007, with the 15th compiled volume released in October 2019. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the series in English in 2011 and shipped the 14th volume in August 2019.

Why are people so surprised at the Dream Ranker arc will adapt in the anime, when the manga editors already confirmed it back before the show aired?

Do not mix words "filler" and "anime-original".

IKR? Getting tired of seeing these people keep mixing both without actually understand what does "filler" means everywhere.

I meant in terms of both but thanks for the clarification nonetheless.

Absolutely looking forward to this, of course.

I didn’t mind the fillers all that much in all honesty but it’s good to know that we’ll getting manga content all the way through (or at least for the vast majority).

Well, I'm glad it's a manga arc. Anime original arcs are alright.
