1. 5G network indicator
  • Solid blue: The signal is good.
  • Solid yellow: The signal is weak.
  • Off: The 5G network is not working.
2. 4G network indicator
  • Solid blue: The signal is good.
  • Solid yellow: The signal is weak.
  • Off: The 4G network is not working.
3. Wi-Fi/WPS indicator
  • Solid blue: Wi-Fi is enabled.
  • Blinking blue: WPS connection is available.
  • Off: Wi-Fi is disabled.
4. Power indicator
  • Solid blue: The device is powered on.
  • Blinking blue: The device is performing firmware update via FOTA.
  • Off: The device is powered off.
5. Micro USB port Dedicated port for debugging.
6. Nano SIM card slot Insert a nano SIM card in the slot.
7. Reset button Use a paperclip to press the button for 3 seconds to reset the device.
8. Power button
  • Press for 3 seconds to power off your device.
  • Press for 1 second to power on your device.
9. WPS button Press the button for 3 seconds to enable the WPS function.
The WPS function will be automatically disabled if a WPS connection is not established within 2 minutes.
10. WAN/LAN port Used to connect to an internet source or wired devices such as computers or switches.
11. LAN port Used to connect to wired devices such as computers or switches.
12. Telephone port* (for HH512LV only) Connect a telephone to make or answer calls.
13. Power connector Used to connect to the power adapter.

  • To establish a wired network connection, connect the wired device to the LAN port of your CPE using an Ethernet cable.
  • To establish a wireless network connection, search for the Wi-Fi name on your wireless devices.
    The default Wi-Fi name (or the SSID) and password can be found on the bottom label of your CPE.
  • To configure the CPE Wi-Fi network, open a web browser on the device connected to the CPE network weirdly or wirelessly, then log into the website and follow the on-screen instructions.
    For the website and the default login information, refer to the bottom label of your CPE.

Safety and use

Please read this chapter carefully before using your device. Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in injury, or damage to your device or other property. The manufacturer disclaims any liability for damage, which may result as a consequence of improper use or use contrary to the instructions contained herein.

  • Do not use the device in areas where wireless devices are prohibited.
  • When the device is switched on, it should be kept at least 15 cm from any medical device such as a pacemaker, a hearing aid, or an insulin pump. Consult your physician and medical device manufacturer for information specific to your medical device.
  • Do not let children use the device and/or play with the device and accessories without supervision.
  • Always handle your device with care, and keep it in a clean and dust-free place.
  • Do not attempt to repair the device yourself.
  • Do not drop, throw, or bend your device.
  • Do not dispose of the device and its accessories in a fire.
  • Do not allow your device to be exposed to adverse weather or environmental conditions (moisture, humidity, rain, infiltration of liquids, dust, sea air, etc.). The manufacturer’s recommended operating temperature range is 0°C (32°F) to 45°C (113°F).
  • Use only batteries, battery chargers, and accessories which are compatible with your device model.

Adapters

Mains powered adapters will operate within the temperature range of: 0°C (32°F) to 45°C (113°F).

The adapters designed for your device meet the standard for safety of information technology equipment and office equipment use. They are also compliant with the ecodesign directive 2009/125/EC. Due to different applicable electrical specifications, an adapter you purchased in one jurisdiction may not work in another jurisdiction. They should be used for the purpose of charging only.

Restrictions:

This equipment may be operated in all European countries. The 5150-5250 MHz1 of Wi-Fi 5GHz can be used inside buildings and outdoors only when the equipment is not attached to a fixed installation or to the external body of road vehicles, a fixed infrastructure or a fixed outdoor antenna. The 5250-5350 MHz1 of Wi-Fi 5GHz can be used inside buildings only. The 5470-5725 MHz1 band of Wi-Fi 5GHz can’t be used in road vehicles, trains, aircraft or UAS (Unmanned
Aircraft System) scenarios for the following countries:
