If cuts are smaller than half a tile, adjust the center line.
Find the floor’s lowest point, stack two tiles there, and mark a horizontal line across the walls to guide your first row.
Applying Adhesive
Shandisa latex-modified thin-set mortar compatible with ceramic files.
Follow adhesive instructions and do not prepare more than 30 minutes of work.
Apply a 1/4″ layer with the trowel’s flat side.
Kucheka Tile
Shandisa a wet saw with a diamond blade for clean cuts.
Measure and mark tiles, using a tile cutter for straight cuts and a nipper for curves.
Cut the tile slowly and steadily, applying consistent pressure to avoid chipping or breakage.
Setting Tile
Start tiling from the room’s center, completing each grid section fully.
Place tiles with a twisting motion for good adhesion.
Use spacers to maintain even gaps and install perimeter tiles last, leaving a 1/4″ gap at walls.
Grouting Joints
Shandisa sanded grout for joints over 1/8″ and non-sanded grout for narrower joints.
Mix the grout as directed and press it into joints with a float at a 45-degree angle.
Wait 24 hours after setting tiles. After drying, buff off the grout haze with a cloth and allow the grout to cure completely before using the area.
