    he actually painted the town red. in his first movie directing a western he completely flips the trope of him being the hero and creates an ambigious, dark thing that we've never seen before. fuelled by something, to prove the cowardness of the town, or something deeper. he's a shitty person and its fitted with some beautiful imagery of the burning red town, really, really liked this.

    i think transformers might have the worst continuation of lore out of any franchise ever. in saying that, this was kinda cold, enjoyed it more than i thought i would. a strong lead in anthony ramos who hit all the emotional beats when necessary, and was bad ass too. loved the relationship with mirage, who was a refreshing autobot with some much necessary personality. cool aesthetic throughout, especially in peru, enjoyed the villain quite a bit, scurge established himself as…
