US Oklahoma Online Casinos
The law in Oklahoma is pretty simple in saying that any person who engages in any form of gambling not authorized by the state faces a fine of $25-$100 and potential jail time of 1-30 days. Of course, we could find no incidence of this ever happening to anyone gambling online from his/her own home acting as a player.
Universal Citation: 21 OK Stat § 21-942 (2014)
Any person who bets or plays at any of said prohibited games, or who shall bet or play at any games whatsoever, for money, property, checks, credits or other representatives of value with cards, dice or any other device which may be adapted to or used in playing any game of chance or in which chance is a material element, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00), nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term of not less than one (1) day, nor more than thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
The Rest of Oklahoma’s Laws
Pertaining to unlawful gambling, the law focuses more on the operators than they do the players. It seems that this would be the full extent of even any theoretical problems for someone acting as a mere player.
It is highly unlikely...
...any online gambling will be licensed and regulated by the state anytime soon because while they have tribal casinos, the state does not have any legalized and regulated commercial casinos. The laws that pertain to operators are pretty convoluted, so much so in fact, that it was difficult to even summarize them on the restrictions page linked above.
Law Enforcement
Most activity having to do with gambling in Oklahoma has focused on the operation or possession of illegal slot machines. The only time we encountered anything to do with online betting, it was because someone had apparently been running a bookmaking site from out of the state, but it does not seem that any mere players were charged with anything.
We should also note:
Players are not always treated with impunity, on at least one occasion, someone who was playing an illegal slot machine was arrested, but that was at an unlawful physical gambling location. No player that we have ever found out about has ever been arrested for the mere act of gambling online.
As a result, the majority of online casinos willing to serve the United States are also willing to serve the State of Oklahoma, you can visit them by clicking any of the links below:
