UBICACIÓN GEOGRÁFICA
Ubicado en el altiplano Peruano a una altura de 3 885 metros sobre el nivel del mar, a 20 kilómetros de la ciudad de Puno, a
orillas del Lago Titicaca.

Límites: por el este limita con los distritos de Puno y Paucarcolla; por el oeste limita con los distritos de Mañazo y el distrito
moqueguano de Ichuña; por el norte limita con los distritos de Atuncolla, Vilque y el lago Umayo; y por el sur limita con el distrito
de San Antonio.

El área total del distrito de 455,71 km², distribuidos entre comunidades campesinas y centros poblados menores.
En las coordenadas geográficas está ubicada a 15° 47′ 50.77″  latitud Sur, 70° 11′ 22.25″ longitud Oeste.

CARACTERISTICAS DE LA LOCALIDAD

CLIMA Y TEMPERATURA

El clima de esta zona está marcado por el predominio del frío y heladas, en los meses de Mayo, Junio y Julio; también está
presente las lluvias, en los meses de Octubre a Noviembre, teniendo su mayor apogeo los meses de Enero y Febrero.
Las mañanas, en la primavera son calurosas y con ausencia del viento, empero los cambios climáticos por el calentamiento
global hacen que las características que configuran a las estaciones, varíen alterando el desarrollo de la agricultura causando
perjuicios como sequías o inundaciones; esta clima puede ser catalogado como un clima heterogéneo. También su clima es
beneficioso para elaborar el charqui, y el chuño.

POBLACIÓN

La población del distrito de Tiquillaca evolucionó en los últimos años así como apreciamos en el cuadro:

La población según sexo en los últimos años proyectado es como sigue:


997 son varones y 1039 son mujeres, lo que nos da a entender que son las mujeres que permanecen más en esta jurisdicción
cumpliendo las labores agrícolas como ganaderas, los varones normalmente acuden a trabajar a las Puno y a Juliaca.

De los tres metodos calculados se elegira el metodo aritmetico ya que es el que tiene mas coherencia en los datos hallado.
Por otro lado los valores calculados por el metodo geometrico estan un poco elevados.
Y asu vez los datos calculados por el metodo de la ecuacion de segundo grado no tienen logica ya que la población empezo
a decrecer y hasta llego a ser negativo para el año 2042 el cual es el año deseado.

Por lo tanto la poblacion futura adoptado será la del método aritmético el cual es:
