OBJETIVOS

OBJETIVO GENERAL

Comprender mediante este documento las opiniones de expertos y profesionales en

el area de la ingenieria civil los principales problemas, oportunidades, problemas
ambientales, desafios y todo lo que podria abordar esta carrera en el futuro se habla
de aproximadamente de 50 a 100 años.

OBJETIVOS ESPECIFICOS

 Identificar los princnipales problemas a los que nos enfrentamos los

ingenieros civiles en un futuro.
 Estimar la importancia de familiarizarnos un poco mas con otras lenguas en
este caso con el ingles.
 Analizar la importancia de los recursos ambientales a futuro en este amplio
campo de la ingenieria civil.
 Comparar como se lleva a cabo la formacion de la ingenieria civil en
Estados Unidos según este articulo y en Colombia actualmente.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Through this document, understand the opinions of experts and professionals in the
area of civil engineering, the main problems, opportunities, environmental
problems, challenges and everything that this career could tackle in the future is
spoken of approximately 50 to 100 years.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

• Identify the main problems that civil engineers will face in the future.
• Estimate the importance of becoming a little more familiar with other languages,
in this case with English.
• Analyze the importance of future environmental resources in this broad field of
civil engineering.
• Compare how civil engineering training is carried out in the United States
according to this article and in Colombia today.

JUSTIFICACION

El motivo por el cual se realiza este trabajo es para conocer las problemáticas que afronta la
carrera de ingeniería civil en el presente y en un futuro entre 50 a 100 años, otra de los
motivos que llevo a indagar fue sobre la gran competencia que empieza a tener esta área de
la ingeniería y las dificultades que han venido presentando los estudiantes al sentirse mas
seguros en ir a estudiar la carrera en países fuera del natal y la gran importancia que se le ha
dado a la mujer en el rol de la ingeniería.

DESARROLLO DEL CONTENIDO

Idea 1

Se habla que uno de los problemas mas alucinantes que se enfrentara el ingeniero civil en
los próximos veinte a cincuenta años es la globalización. Si se miraba en el diseño y
construcción importante en cualquier parte del mundo hace veinte años, se realiza en gran
medida por los diseñadores y constructores estadounidenses. Hoy en día, usted tiene
proyectos como el aeropuerto Chek Lap Kok en Hong Kong. Sólo siete por ciento de ese
proyecto de veintidós mil millones de dólares fue a contratistas estadounidenses, que dice
que la profesión de la ingeniería civil es cada vez más global.

Idea 2

Una de las problemáticas que se aborda en el dialogo es la del trasporte, se piensa que es el
reto del ingeniero del transporte hoy en día. Se trata de desarrollar vehículos inteligentes y
la mejora de nuestros sistemas de transporte masivo, sin duda, pero mirando hacia el futuro
cincuenta años, todavía pienso que dentro de ese marco de tiempo que todavía se va a
mover físicamente a las personas. No creo que vamos a moverlos en vehículos propulsados
por motores de combustión interna; habrá algún otro tipo de combustible y algún otro tipo
de
tecnología.

Idea 3

Se aborda sobre la importancia del recurso hídrico, el agua será transportada en todo el
mundo debido a que conseguir un suministro adecuado de agua potable será un gran
problema. Creo que se va a mover el agua alrededor en el futuro al igual que nos movemos
aceite de hoy en día. Es un enfoque totalmente diferente de la forma en que hacemos las
cosas hoy en día, uno que nos permita compartir mejor los recursos y asegurar que las
personas de todo el mundo no estaban sufriendo por falta de alimento, por falta de agua, o
la falta de lo que sea.

Idea 4

Una Sociedad professional puede desempeñar un papel importante en el desarrollo de las

habilidades de liderazgo de sus miembros. Por lo que ahora se puso unos grandes talleres de
liderazgo, incluyendo talleres para nuestra sección y sección local líderes-y tenemos un
taller para leaders.As Student Chapter una pieza de acompañamiento a esto, hemos creado
un nuevo programa llamado los asuntos públicos otorga iniciativa, lo que vuelve a poner
dinero en las bases a las personas ayudar a desarrollar una imagen pública con asambleas
estatales o cuerpos estatales, para educarlos acerca de lo que hacen los ingenieros civiles.
Idea 5

Uno de los problemas que tenemos es que nos hemos basado en los estudiantes
internacionales, algo así como que hemos estado confiando en el extranjero de petróleo
para llenar los vacíos en el PhD. level. And ahora un poco más del cincuenta por ciento de
los estudiantes en el PhD.

Idea 6

Se identifica una problemática como son más las personas que ganan doctorados en
ingeniería en China que los que hay en los Estados Unidos, y que nunca ha sucedido antes.
Hay más personas que obtienen títulos avanzados en Europa que hay en los Estados
Unidos, que nunca ha sucedido antes. Por lo que algunos cambios fundamentales reales
están llevando a cabo.

Idea 7

Creo que los problemas que se van a enfrentar van a ser considerable, y creo que una gran
parte de nuestro reto en frente de ellos estará en educar al público sobre cuáles son los
problemas y cómo sustanciales que son, y que van para requerir soluciones creativas que no
se convertirá en empantanado en disputas políticas.

Idea 8

Los ingenieros civiles son los ingenieros que trabajan en las cosas que afectan más
directamente a nuestra calidad de vida y las cosas que se puede demostrar que realmente
tienen un impacto directo en la mejora de la vida de otras personas. Eso es un verdadero
punto de venta para una profesión que busca atraer a más jóvenes a la misma.

Idea 9

Con respecto a atraer a las mujeres y las minorías, creo que las mujeres tienen un momento
difícil en este negocio debido a su dominio masculino. Creo que está cambiando-que más

mujeres se están involucrando en la ingeniería, y eso es una cosa buena, ya que, por cierto,
creo que las mujeres son más brillantes.

Idea 10

Hay lugares en el mundo donde un número significativo de personas no tienen acceso al

agua potable, al saneamiento, donde un alto porcentaje de niños mueren antes de los cinco
años a causa de enfermedades transmitidas por el agua que no se han visto en este país por
cien cincuenta años. Eso es ciertamente un área en la que los ingenieros civiles tienen la
oportunidad de ejercer un impacto significativo en la calidad de vida y en la seguridad
internacional.

Idea 1

It is said that one of the most amazing problems that the civil engineer will face in the next
twenty to fifty years is globalization. If you looked at major design and construction
anywhere in the world twenty years ago, it was largely done by American designers and
builders. Today, you have projects like the Chek Lap Kok airport in Hong Kong. Only
seven percent of that $ 22 billion project went to American contractors, which says the civil
engineering profession is becoming more global.

Idea 2

One of the problems addressed in the dialogue is that of transportation, it is thought to be

the challenge of the transportation engineer today. It is about developing smart vehicles and
improving our mass transit systems, no doubt, but looking to the future fifty years, I still
think that within that time frame people will still be physically moved. I don't think we are
going to move them in vehicles powered by internal combustion engines; there will be
some other kind of fuel and some other kind of
technology.

Idea 3

The importance of water resources is discussed, water will be transported around the world
because getting an adequate supply of drinking water will be a big problem. I think the
water is going to move around in the future just like we move oil today. It is a totally

different approach to the way we do things today, one that allows us to better share
resources and ensure that people around the world were not suffering from lack of food,
lack of water, or lack Whatever.

Idea 4

A professional Society can play an important role in developing the leadership skills of its
members. So now we set up some great leadership workshops, including workshops for our
local section and leaders’ section-and we have a workshop for leaders. As the Student
Chapter an accompaniment to this, we have created a new program called Public Affairs
Gives Initiative, which puts people back on the ground to help develop a public image with
state assemblies or state bodies, to educate them about what civil engineers do.

Idea 5

One of the problems we have is that we have relied on international students, something
like we have been relying on oil abroad to fill the gaps in the Ph.D. level. And now a little
over fifty percent of the students in the Ph.D.

Idea 6

A problem is identified as there are more people who earn doctorates in engineering in
China than there are in the United States, and that has never happened before. There are
more people earning advanced degrees in Europe than there are in the United States, which
has never happened before. So some real fundamental changes are taking place.

Idea 7

I think the problems that are going to be faced are going to be considerable, and I think a
big part of our challenge in front of them is going to be educating the public about what the
problems are and how substantial they are, and that they are going to require creative
solutions. it will not become bogged down in political disputes.

Idea 8

Civil engineers are engineers who work on the things that most directly affect our quality of
life and the things that can be shown to really have a direct impact on improving the lives
of other people. That is a true selling point for a profession that seeks to attract more young
people to it.

Idea 9

Regarding attracting women and minorities, I think women have a difficult time in this
business because of their male dominance. I think it's changing-that more women are
getting involved in engineering, and that's a good thing, since, by the way, I think women
are brighter.

Idea 10

There are places in the world where a significant number of people do not have access to
drinking water, sanitation, where a high percentage of children die before the age of five
due to waterborne diseases that have not been seen in this country by one hundred and fifty
years. That is certainly an area where civil engineers have an opportunity to make a
significant impact on quality of life and international security.

CONCLUSIONES

 Se obtuvieron los cálculos en las tuberías en serie, teóricas y experimentales en

donde tuvimos un margen de error alto.

 Dentro del análisis obtenido del laboratorio de pérdidas por accesorios, se tiene que

la presión entre manómetros de Bourdon era mínima. Por lo tanto, se deduce que las

pérdidas por fricción de la tubería PVC presenta menos fricción que la tubería

galvanizada.

 Por último, se concluyó que los accesorios son esenciales para que haya un aumento

de presión de flujo en las diferentes tuberías.
