1. Introducción
El propósito principal es la integración de los conocimientos y la dirección integral al final
del pregrado. Durante el desarrollo del simulador de capstone se manejan una empresa que
fabrica sensores electrónicos, desde su diseño y desarrollo hasta la puesta en el mercado en
un segmento determinado. Se tomaran daciones en varias áreas de la empresa como ser:
Investigación y Desarrollo, Marketing, Producción y Finanzas.
Al inicio del primer capítulo también incluye la misión y visión de Erie, su estructura
organizacional con sus respectivos manuales de funciones para cada gerente ejecutivo de la
empresa designando responsabilidades y papeles que desempeñarán para ayudarán a la
toma de decisiones, para impulsar a la empresa en el su meta de ser líder del mercado y
teniendo las mayores utilidades para la misma.
En los siguientes capítulos se desarrollan y plasman el resultado obtenido por cada decisión
de las respectivas rondas y su situación actual de cada segmento de nuestros productos para
perfeccionar las decisiones los siguientes años. En el último capítulo del documento se
describen las conclusiones esta experiencia con el simulador.

4. Análisis situacional
4.1. Detallar las decisiones planificadas y el resultado obtenido en la ronda.
I+D
Para esta ronda 6 se optó en modificar en y optar por estrategias de acuerdo a cada
segmento, lo que se puede visualizar más a detalle de aquí en adelante divido por
segmentos:

HIGH END
Para el producto Echo pertenecientes a este segmento cual tiene mayor numero de
competencia en el segmento lo cual hace difícil su incremento y posicionamiento del
producto de manera ideal, se mantuvo el MTBF y se calculo los puntos ideales para esta
ronda terminado con una buena participación del mercado.
PERFOMANCE
Para este segmento se planifico adelantar su fecha de revisión del producto Edge lo cual
puede haber beneficiado y contribuido a que se haya vendido todo lo producido.
SIZE
Ya que para este segmento los puntos ideales tienen mayor importancia se enfoco en
calcular estos con la mayor precisión posible lo que derivó en una buena edad para el
producto además de estar a pocas unidades por debajo de la empresa Chester con su
producto Cure a continuación los detalles de las decisiones tomadas en este segmento.

Los resultados de la ronda 6 fueron realmente buenos para la empresa, ya que en esta ronda
tuvimos utilidades netas y también salió lo que se había planeado como estrategias con los
distintos gerentes, como se logra apreciar en la tabla esos fueron los datos en cuanto a
Pronóstico, inversion en Marketing y Precio.

Como se mencionó anteriormente y como se puede observar en las tablas los productos con
faltantes fueron EAT, EBB y EDGE, con un menor en ECHO y EGGE.

PRODUCCION
En la actualidad contamos con 5 productos: Comer, reflujo, Eco, Borde y huevo con los
cuales estamos trabajando en esta ronda competitiva.
productos poniendo más énfasis en huevo y reflujo, ya que son los productos con menos
margen de contribución. Pudimos lograr una fase de automatización gracias a que ya
teníamos presupuestos en esta nueva ronda y fue lo que nos benefició.
FINANZAS
Las decisiones del departamento de finanzas para la sexta ronda fueron enfocadas en la
obtención de utilidades con el fin de obtener más que la anterior ronda, y el pago de bonos
para poder mejorar la categoría de la de la empresa.

Los resultados en esta ronda son fabulosos ya que además de generar más utilidad que
anterior ronda y lograr pagar otro de los bonos, se logró obtener exactamente lo planificado,
cumpliendo con los planificado como nunca antes y mejorando así poco a poco el puntaje
de la empresa.

En cuanto a los costos de I+D se puede observar que después se optar por no modificar el
producto Ebb para así ganar y dejar que el producto envejezca y recuperar participación del
segmento, para el producto Echo los costos de I+D se mantuvieron, Edge disminuyeron los
costos y finalmente en los productos de Eat y Egg los costo subieron en 10%.

En cuanto al producto EBB del segmento LOW END este tuvo faltantes y 2463 vendidas,
se quedó con 0 de inventario, en la cual se invirtió 2000 en RECONOCIMIENTO de igual
manera tuvimos una inversion baja debido que quedamos con un 92% y en
ACCESIBILIDAD una inversion de 2780 para subir a un 100%, lo cual debemos seguir
mejorando en reconocimiento, se quedó sin inventario debido que el pronóstico fue bajo y
no aumentamos nada en consecuencia de la edad y a las modificaciones que hicimos en el
departamento de I&D, por lo cual no pudimos satisfacer a la demanda potencial.

En cuanto al producto ECHO del segmento HIGH END se tuvo un inventario de 56 y 949
vendidas, en el mismo producto se invirtió 2090 en RECONOCIMIENTO en el cual se
invirtió muy poco para llegar al 100% y tuvimos un 92% y en ACCESIBILIDAD una
inversion de 2780 para subir a un100%, lo cual debemos seguir mejorando EN
RECONOCIMIENTO, se quedó con inventario porque invertimos poca cantidad en
RECONOCIMIENTO, si hubiéramos invertido más, se quedaría con una cantidad menor
en el inventario.

Podemos observar que en eat y ebb pudimos vender todo nos fue muy bien ya que son
nuestros mejores productos y tienen una buena automatización, ahora en egg nos
enfocamos con automatizarlos y nos fue bien

La diferencia entre lo que se planificó y lo que se obtuvo es mínima, en esta ronda se tenia
como objetivo generar más utilidad que la anterior ronda y mejorando con eso muchos
otros puntos importantes para los demás departamentos que conllevan a la utilidad, así
como al crecimiento de la empresa.
5. Conclusión
5.1. Realizar una retroalimentación de la ronda, identificando las causas de los
resultados obtenidos.
La excelente planificación por parte de todos los gerentes de la empresa fue uno de pilares
fundamentales para logar estos resultados, ya que el puntaje obtenido fue el que se
esperaba.
Otro factor fue los pronósticos poco realistas que determinaron la competencia los cuales
no estaban relacionadas a esta ronda ya que en unos casos fue escaso y en otros fue
demasiada, esto produjo que se quedaran con muchos productos en inventarios.
