OBJETIVOS
Que las alumnas y los alumnos puedan:
Afianzar, mejorar y profundizar la produccin oral.
Incorporar el metalenguaje con el propsito de caracterizar y
reflexionar sobre los fundamentos tericos del espacio como para el
anlisis de su propio acento.
Analizar y comprender los diferentes enfoques para la enseanza de
la pronunciacin.
Facilitar la toma de conciencia de la importancia de la enseanza
integrada de la pronunciacin.
CONTENIDOS CONCEPTUALES
Teaching and learning pronunciation
Why teach pronunciation? Problems and approaches in pronunciation
teaching. The teachers role and the learners role. Factors that affect
pronunciation learning. What pronunciation model to teach. Aspects of
pronunciation. Speaking with a foreign accent. Intelligibility vs. native-like
pronunciation.
Building awareness and concern for pronunciation.
Vowel sounds. Consonant sounds. Word and sentence stress. Rhythm. Weak
forms. Intonation. How teachable is intonation? Aspects of connected
speech. What aspects of connected speech should we teach? Linkage and
speech simplifications. General awareness-building activities. Differences
and similarities between the pronunciation of English and Spanish sounds.
Teaching problems.
Pronunciation and Spelling
How does the English spelling system work? English spelling and learning
pronunciation. Problems and approaches in the teaching of pronunciation

La metodologa didctica ser de carcter comunicativo, activo y
participativo.
Estrategias: Exposicin; ejemplificacin; lectura comprensiva; dilogo;
anlisis de casos; anlisis de textos y discursos; reflexin; investigacin;
presentaciones; escucha y anlisis de pelculas y grabaciones; ejercicios de
micro enseanza; aplicacin de estrategias de aprendizaje de la
pronunciacin con alumnos de otros niveles e instituciones.
EVALUACION
Para las evaluaciones integradoras como para las finales para alumnos que
cursan por Rgimen Promocional, Presencial, Semi-Presencial y Libres, rige
lo establecido en el Anexo1 que modifica el Anexo 5 de la Resolucin
1304/99 MECCyT, y el reglamento interno de la Institucin.
