With a diverse background in aviation, Israel has worked as an airline pilot, operating ATR and Airbus aircraft models in various countries across South America and Southeast Asia. Prior to his airline career, Israel served as a certified flight instructor/examiner and held the position of Head of Safety at a prominent flight school in Brazil.
Israel's academic achievements include a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science, a certificate for graduate studies in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Aeronautics with Embry-Riddle.
He joined Embry-Riddle in September of 2019 as the Executive Director for Central & South America. In August of 2022, he was appointed Vice Chancellor and Head of Central & South America. Israel is currently responsible for leading the operations and strategic planning of the university to the region. He plays a pivotal role in business development and serves as the main point of contact for various partnerships in Central and South America.
