Correct line in match results

[edit]

Hi.

I have seen your edits in 2014 UEFA Women's U-17 Championship qualifying and noticed several times that you use the wrong line in the results. For example here [1] where I corrected you. When you edit a page, at the bottom of the "edit box" (just above "Watch this page"), there should be a selection box. Choose the first choice "Insert", and on the right, there are a few symbols. The first one is "–" (ndash), which is the symbol we use for the score. (Note that there are two other similar symbols, the second one is "—" (mdash), and another one is "−" (minus sign) and they are different symbols and should not be confused). PLEASE READ THIS, I have to fix after you every time at the moment. QED237 (talk) 16:09, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Kick-off time

[edit]

I noticed that when you edited 2013–14 Coppa Italia third round, you added wrong kick-off time. Please be aware that the time in soccerway is adjusted to your computer time, i.e., YOUR local time. So it is not the same local time for the match. So if you're in Romania, there is a one-hour time difference from Italy.

I have corrected your edits. But please be careful next time. FootballStatWhore (talk) 19:28, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of 2013–14 KNVB Cup, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: 2012–13 KNVB Cup. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 07:40, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Football at the 2014 South American Games

[edit]

Hello Ionel141,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Football at the 2014 South American Games for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Zeke Sonxx (Whine) 01:21, 9 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article 2014 AFC U-14 Girls Regional Championship is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article AFC U-14 Women's Regional Championship has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable youth tournament, which fails WP:NFOOTBALL and WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015 Men's European Volleyball Championship qualification, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Macedonia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of 2014–15 Russian Cup, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: 2013–14 Russian Cup.

Proposed deletion of 2014 Montaigu Tournament

[edit]

The article 2014 Montaigu Tournament has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Individual season articles are not notable, failing WP:GNG. Unsourced too.

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from 2013–14 Georgian Cup into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 19:43, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've fixed this one, based on a guess at where you copied the content from. Please feel free to correct it on the talk pages of both articles if I got that wrong. This seems to be just one of quite a large number of pages you have made by copying content without providing attribution. Could I ask you to go ahead and fix the others, adding attribution on the talk page of the source and the destination article in each case? Thank you! I think that at the very least, that would include all the articles in this list. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 19:52, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on 2015 Reykjavik Tournament requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. U.S. athletes in track and field

[edit]

Hello Ionel141,

I just noticed that you name the athletes in track and field for the United States, and capitalize common nouns for every event in track and field. Be warned that you should not mention athletes yet until the Olympic trials has officially begun. Countless American athletes have already recorded entry standards in their respective events since the qualification process has started last May (for road events last January), but please do not name them yet until the NOC and the trials have selected the athletes to compete for the Olympics. Same applies to swimming and other sports, you cannot name the athletes until the Olympic trials take place. Thank you for your consideration. Raymarcbadz (talk) 16:26, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Shooting at the 2015 Island Games

[edit]

The article Shooting at the 2015 Island Games has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unfinished.

--Anarchyte 09:40, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2015 WAFF U-16 Championship requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". An article you recently created, 2018–19 Russian Cup, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your page to draft space (with a prefix of Draft: before the article title) where you can work on it with minimal disruption. When you feel that it meets our notability and neutrality requirements, and is thus ready for mainspace, please submit it using the Articles for Creation template on the page. Notice

The article 2018 ITF Junior Circuit has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable tour

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 2019 for Beach Volleyball

[edit]

Hi, Ionel141. I know that you wanted to add your info to the 2019 Beach Volleyball section. However, it is an annual overall event, not like some sports that start late in the current year and end in the next year. Besides, the FIVB has already revealed the 2019 schedule for beach volleyball. It is not complete though, due to that some events may get cancelled or get added during the 2019 schedule by the FIVB. Your idea of revealing the winners, the runners-up, and the score for each event is a good one. Therefore, I made the changes according to that 2019 FIVB schedule. Information icon Hello, I'm Cs-wolves. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, 2020 UCI Europe Tour, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. As well as the unsourced results, please properly utilise Template:Ct when putting teams in. |2020 is in the template for a reason - it's avoiding issues in the future. The preview button is there for a reason. Many thanks, Craig(talk) 18:54, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at 2020 UCI Europe Tour, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. This is the level-two template. Add any race results with a reference; please properly utilise Template:Ct when putting teams in. There is a reason that |2020 is in the template - not for it to be unilaterally ignored - it's avoiding issues in the future. Once again, you have a preview button. Use it. Hello, Ionel141. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "2020–21 Cupa României".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 20:53, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Ionel141,

Could you please add references for each race on the 2021 in women's road cycling article, both retrospectively and in the future? The disparity in the number of references between this article and the men's article is an issue that should be resolved, and given that you've been the main contributor to the women's page, I think you are best suited to backtracking and sourcing your past edits.

On a similar note, please also try to do the same for any future edits to the 2021 UCI Europe Tour and the 2021 national road cycling championships articles, both tp which you have contributed often. As per WP:CITE, any unsourced content puts it at risk of being removed. Thanks! Benjamin112 (talk) 17:24, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Zimbabwe

[edit]

@Ionel141: Hi, you seem to have added content about Zimbabwe on the Google Street View Coverage page, but the source you gave never mentions "Irene, Pounsley, Nyazura, Folkington, Rusape, Helensvale, Somerby, Selous, Chegutu, Excelsior, Beatrice", it only mentions that the city of Harare has been added to Google Street View, furthermore the source says that only the main commercial districts of Harare have been added but not the whole city, the information has been deleted, since on the talk page a consensus was reached that only the official Google street view would be placed on the page, the street view made by other people is very limited, secondly the Zimbabwe street view is not from 2021, it is from 2018, the news you placed is a copypaste of another news. -Seb { 💬 Talk + 📝 Edits } 19:37, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article 2015 Hua Hin Tennis Exhibition has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable instance of non-notable tournament (Hua Hin Tennis Exhibition was deleted at AfD in 2015: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hua Hin Tennis Exhibition).

♠PMC(talk) 01:38, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Updating match scores early

[edit]

I noticed that you added the final score and updated group standings of the Malaysia vs Indonesia U23 match 7 minutes before full time. I think that could cause some confusion so in the future please just wait until the match ends. Yoblyblob (talk) 15:00, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
