An Analysis of Use Intention of Pet Disease Consultation Chatbot

Published: 09 November 2020 Publication History

Abstract

In this study, we used technology acceptance model and media synchronization theory to develop a use intention model for the pet disease consultation chatbot. We surveyed members of an online pet group to collect data and then used clustering method of data mining technology for analysis. The results indicated that younger people, women, people who have experience in transporting a pet to a veterinary clinic, are more satisfied with pet disease consultations by using chatbots than others. In addition, perceived convenience is a major niche for veterinary clinics to provide in pet disease consultation chatbots. Our study can be used as a basis for evaluation in research on intelligent medical treatments in pet health and care.
