Harmonic analysis of nonstationary signals with application to LHC beam measurements / Russo, G. (CERN ; Frankfurt U.) ; Franchetti, G. (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Giovannozzi, M. (CERN) ; Maclean, E.H. (CERN)
Harmonic analysis has provided powerful tools to accurately determine the tune from turn-by-turn data originating from numerical simulations or beam measurements in circular accelerators and storage rings. Methods that have been developed since the 1990s are suitable for stationary signals, i.e., time series whose properties do not vary with time and are represented by stationary signals. [...]

Forecasting the sensitivity of Pulsar Timing Arrays to gravitational wave backgrounds / Babak, Stanislav (APC, Paris) ; Falxa, Mikel (LPC2E, Orleans ; APC, Paris) ; Franciolini, Gabriele (CERN) ; Pieroni, Mauro (CERN)
Pulsar Timing Array (PTA) observations hinted towards the existence of a stochastic gravitational wave background (SGWB) in the nHz frequency band. Still, the nature of the SGWB signal cannot be confidently inferred from current data, and the leading explanation invokes mergers of supermassive black holes. [...]

Energy deposition studies for the Upgrade II of LHCb at the CERN Large Hadron Collider / Ciccotelli, Alessia (CERN ; U. Manchester (main) ; Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech.) ; Appleby, Robert B. (U. Manchester (main) ; Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech.) ; Cerutti, Francesco (CERN) ; Buffet, Kevin (CERN) ; Butin, Francois (CERN) ; Corti, Gloria (CERN) ; Esposito, Luigi Salvatore (CERN) ; Garcia Alia, Ruben (CERN) ; Karacson, Matthias (CERN) ; Lerner, Giuseppe (CERN) et al.
The Upgrade II of the LHCb experiment is proposed to be installed during the CERN Long Shutdown 4, aiming to operate LHCb at 1.5x$10^{34}cm^{-2}s^{-1}$ that is 75 times its design luminosity and reaching an integrated luminosity of about $400 fb^{-1}$ by the end of the High Luminosity LHC era. This increase of the data sample at LHCb is an unprecedented opportunity for heavy flavour physics measurements. [...]

Generalized threshold of longitudinal multibunch instability in synchrotrons / Karpov, Ivan (CERN) ; Shaposhnikova, Elena (CERN)
Beam stability is an essential requirement for particle accelerators. Longitudinal coupled-bunch instabilities (CBI) are driven by beam interaction with long-range wakefields induced in the resonant structures with narrow-band impedance. [...]

Orders of Magnitude Improved Cyclotron-Mode Cooling for Nondestructive Spin Quantum Transition Spectroscopy with Single Trapped Antiprotons / BASE Collaboration
We demonstrate efficient sub-thermal cooling of the modified cyclotron mode of a single trapped antiproton and reach particle temperatures $T_+=E_+/k_\text{B}$ below $200\,$mK in preparation times shorter than $500\,$s. This corresponds to the fastest resistive single-particle cyclotron cooling to sub-thermal temperatures ever demonstrated. [...]

Image-current mediated sympathetic laser cooling of a single proton in a Penning trap down to 170 mK axial temperature / BASE Collaboration
We demonstrate a new temperature record for image-current mediated sympathetic cooling of a single proton in a cryogenic Penning trap by laser-cooled $^9$Be$^+$. An axial mode temperature of 170 mK is reached, which is a 15-fold improvement compared to the previous best value. [...]

A Double Copy of Geometry / Helset, Andreas (CERN)
We propose an extension of the color-kinematics duality for nonlinear sigma models with nonsymmetric cosets. The role of color is played by curvatures in field space. [...]

Noninvertible Symmetries, Anomalies, and Scattering Amplitudes / Copetti, Christian (Oxford U., Inst. Math.) ; Cordova, Lucia (CERN) ; Komatsu, Shota (CERN)
We show that crossing symmetry of S-matrices is modified in certain theories with non-invertible symmetries or anomalies. Focusing on integrable flows to gapped phases in two dimensions, we find that S-matrices derived previously from the bootstrap approach are incompatible with non-invertible symmetries along the flow. [...]

First measurement of the $\nu_e$ and $\nu_\mu$ interaction cross sections at the LHC with FASER’s emulsion detector / FASER Collaboration
This paper presents the first results of the study of high-energy electron and muon neutrino charged-current interactions in the FASER$\nu$ emulsion/tungsten detector of the FASER experiment at the LHC. A subset of the FASER$\nu$ volume, which corresponds to a target mass of 128.6~kg, was exposed to neutrinos from the LHC $pp$ collisions with a centre-of-mass energy of 13.6~TeV and an integrated luminosity of 9.5 fb$^{-1}$. High-Statistics Measurement of Collins and Sivers Asymmetries for Transversely Polarized Deuterons / COMPASS Collaboration
New results are presented on a high-statistics measurement of Collins and Sivers asymmetries of charged hadrons produced in deep inelastic scattering of muons on a transversely polarised $^6$LiD target. The data were taken in 2022 with the COMPASS spectrometer using the 160 \gevv muon beam at CERN, balancing the existing data on transversely polarised proton targets. [...]
