Details
Images with transparency don't get actual transparency. Setting the proper SurfacePipe flag should do the work.

I was affected by this bug.
Check https://zcorpan.github.io/grimes-book-meme-generator/?q=Introducing+HTML5#6726610 in Firefox Nightly with image.jxl.enabled=true. I get JXL artifacts in the transparent area. Plus the toDataURL()'d image looks different again.
The patch for https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1709818 addresses this issue.
