This 2001 Acura Integra Type R is one of approximately 1,173 examples built for the US market for the model year, and it was purchased in 2009 by the seller, who has since added approximately 25k of its 55k miles shown. The car is finished in Phoenix Yellow over black cloth and suede and is powered by a 1.8-liter B18C5 inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, gray 15″ seven-spoke alloy wheels, a rear wing, air conditioning, a CD stereo, and power windows and locks. This Integra Type R is offered in Massachusetts with manufacturer’s literature, a spare set of carpeted floormats, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Phoenix Yellow (Y-56) and features a front lip spoiler, a rear wing, a power antenna, a rear window wiper, Type R graphics, and red Acura badging. The front bumper cover has been refinished, and the seller notes mismatched paint and evidence of previous paintwork. Gray 15″ seven-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with General Altimax RT43 tires which were fitted in 2022. The Type R received larger-diameter disc brakes at each corner as well as a lower ride height when compared with the standard Integra. The brake fluid was flushed in 2022, the brake pads and rotors were replaced in 2023, and the red paint on the brake calipers is flaking.

The seating surfaces are upholstered in black microsuede and cloth with red accent stitching and are complemented by a color-matching center console, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, a CD stereo, a digital clock, and power windows and locks. There is wear on the driver’s seat bolster.

A plaque on the center armrest identifies this Type R as #01-0638 built for the model year.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 25k of which were added under current ownership.

The 1.8-liter B18C5 DOHC inline-four features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory-rated at 195 horsepower and 130 lb-ft of torque. An AEM air intake has been added, and a strut tower brace spans the engine bay. The timing belt and water pump were replaced in 2015. The headers and catalytic converter have been replaced, although the seller states they are not Type R-specification.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch was replaced in 2012, and the transmission fluid was changed in 2022.
