LT4-Powered 1987 Land Rover 110
This 1987 Land Rover 110 was imported to the US and modified by ECD Automotive Design of Kissimmee, Florida, which delivered the completed build to its previous owner in May 2022. Powered by a 6.2-liter LT4 V8 paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it is finished in matte dark gray over black leather, and it has an adjustable air suspension, 20″ Kahn wheels, Fox shock absorbers, four-wheel disc brakes, heated front seats, power front windows, air conditioning, a Nardi steering wheel, and a rearview camera. The truck was acquired by its current owner on BaT in September 2022, and a ~$30k custom sound system was installed in 2024. This modified 110 is offered on dealer consignment with build records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the owner’s name.
The truck was disassembled and refinished in matte dark gray by East Coast Defender in early 2022. Features include wheel arch flares, side steps, LED headlights, a 10,000-lb Warn winch, a Front Runner roof rack, a rear ladder, a tubular rear bumper with a receiver hitch, and polished exhaust tips.
The 20″ Kahn Mondial Retro wheels are mounted with 285/55 General Grabber AT/X tires. The truck is equipped with Fox shocks and adjustable air suspension, and stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners.
The cabin has been converted to left-hand drive, and the five-passenger interior features front bucket seats and a split bench trimmed in black leather with diamond-stitched inserts. Amenities include air conditioning, heated front seats, power door locks, power front windows, an Alcantara headliner, a reversing camera, a custom center console with wireless device charging, and Kilmat sound insulation.
In 2024, jump seats were removed from the cargo area, and dual enclosures were fabricated by Simplicity In Sound of Milpitas, California, which installed a custom sound system with a Kenwood DMX-958XR touchscreen head unit, three Mosconi Pro amplifiers, and the following elements from Morel Hifi: Ultimo PowerSlim 10” subwoofers, Hybrid MkII two-way 6.5” component speakers, Elate Carbon three-way 6.5” component speakers, MM3 midrange speakers, and MT450 tweeters.
The Nardi Challenge steering wheel is trimmed in leather and sits ahead of a 200-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 2,500 miles, ~1,200 of which were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The supercharged 6.2-liter General Motors LT4 V8 was installed in 2022.
Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
Vehicle specifications and a build invoice are included in the sale.
The Carfax report lists history in Florida and Arizona beginning in August 2021.
