The polished frame features in-tube oil storage, and equipment includes a half-gallon aluminum fuel tank, a front rock guard, a black and white vinyl solo seat, a chrome rear lift handle, a white-finished rear fender, and a side stand. The seller notes the presence of corrosion on the rear section of the frame, photos of which can be viewed in the gallery below.

Wire-spoke wheels measuring 23″ up front and 19″ at the rear were mounted with Mitas tires in September 2023. The bike’s sole suspension consists of a telescopic fork with black accordion gaiters, and there are no brakes.

The black-finished Renthal handlebar was installed in September 2023 and is equipped with a twist-grip throttle and a clutch lever. The bike is not equipped with instrumentation, therefore total mileage is unknown.

The Type 897 methanol-burning 493cc SOHC single was rebuilt in October 2023 by Cody Racing Products of Garden Grove, California, with replacement bearings, seals, gaskets, and connecting-rod assemblies. Equipment includes a 36mm Dell’Orto carburetor and a chrome exhaust system that was installed in October 2023. Photos of receipts detailing the work performed under current ownership can be seen in the gallery below.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a single-speed transmission. The primary and drive chains were replaced in January 2024.
