This 1952 Ford F-3 pickup was acquired by the selling dealer in 2018 and subsequent work consisted of installing a 12-volt electrical system and replacing the master cylinder, carburetor, fuel tank, generator, voltage regulator, radiator hoses, brake hoses and brake shoes. The truck is powered by a 239ci flathead V8 paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and it is finished in maroon over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a wood stake bed, black-finished running boards, a wood cargo bed floor, 17” steel wheels, rear stone guards, a dual exhaust system, and a heater. This F-3 pickup is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a New York registration.
The truck is finished in maroon and exterior equipment includes a wood stake bed, a black-finished front bumper and running boards, side mirrors, a windshield wiper, a wood cargo bed floor, rear stone guards, and dual exhaust outlets. Paint and body blemishes are displayed in the gallery. The selling dealer notes that the doors and interior have been repainted under prior ownership.
The 17” steel wheels wear bright center caps and are mounted with 7.5-17 Torel tires. Stopping is provided by drums at each corner. Work since 2018 consisted of replacing the master cylinder, brake hoses, and brake shoes.
The bench seat is trimmed in black vinyl upholstery, and interior appointments include a painted dashboard, a heater, a rubber floor covering, and glovebox storage.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 90-mph speedometer as well as a combination gauge with readouts for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles, approximately 350 of which were by the selling dealer.
The 239ci flathead V8 was factory equipped with a single-barrel carburetor and was rated at 100 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque when new. Work since 2018 consisted of replacing the carburetor, fuel tank, generator, voltage regulator, and radiator hoses.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission that is said to have been installed by the selling dealer. Corrosion is noted on under body components.
The vehicle is being sold on its expired New York registration, which serves as the ownership document in New York.
