Ruth Palumbo (Democratic Party) is a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 76. She assumed office in 1991. Her current term ends on January 1, 2025.
Palumbo (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 76. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Palumbo and her husband, John, have four children.[1] She has been involved with many organizations, including American Association of University Women, American Cancer Society, Bluegrass International Affairs, Bryan Station Neighborhood Association, Focus on Family Child Care Council, Girl Scouts United States of America, Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce, Greater Lexington Democratic Woman's Club, and the League of Women Voters.[2]

Palumbo's opponent in the November 2 general election was Republican candidate Richard Marrs. According to official results, Palumbo defeated Marrs by a margin of 8,085 to 5,679.[11]
