Phil Plummer (Republican Party) is a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 39. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on December 31, 2024.

Plummer (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives to represent District 39. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Phil Plummer was born in Montgomery County, Ohio, and lives in Dayton. Plummer graduated from Chaminade Julienne High School. He earned an associate degree in criminal justice from the University of Toledo and a B.S. in business management from the University of Phoenix. He also completed executive training at the FBI National Academy. His career experience includes working in law enforcement as a corrections officer, deputy sheriff, Sergeant, Major, Chief Deputy, and Sheriff in Montgomery County, Ohio.[1]

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
