I am an OB/GYN who has lived and worked in this district for the past 30 years. I have been worried that our state has gone down the wrong path in regards to health care and increasing maternal and infant mortality, more abortion restrictions, less gun restrictions and marginalizing communities. Abortion restrictions hurt our economy by affecting a woman's ability to work and limiting her economic potential. Marginalizing people also hurts the economy as LGBTQ+ college graduates leave the state and do not stay here for jobs. The collateral damage of gun violence hurts everyone

  • High quality health care access - Drug costs, evidence based medicine in regards to vaccines, reproductive care & gender care
  • Funding public education & allowing teachers to teach so our kids can compete in an global economy
  • Keeping our community safe so people are not afraid to participate in activities, go to school or public places.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She personifies integrity, intelligence and the ability to accomplish so much for women's rights.

Honesty and the ability to listen and understand all sides of an issue before making a decision.

I have a background in women's health and have done advocacy work in the past. I am passionate about education and health care policy and believe that I can help create evidence based policy in Ohio.

Wonder Woman - She is a strong decisive woman and acts in the same way.

It should be a balanced relationship where neither side is able to make decisions unilaterally.

One of the greatest challenges will be helping it go from a regressive gerrymandered state to a progressive state that values all of its people and is able to attract a diverse community of people.

Independent map makers who use the current breakdown of political party percentages to create fair districts that don't break up neighborhoods.

Compromise is valuable in all areas of life including policy making

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Ohio

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
