Marcia Moody
Marcia G. Moody (b. November 22, 1935 - d. May 25, 2016) was a Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Rockingham 17 from 2004 to May 25, 2016. She died at her home of natural causes.[1]
Moody volunteered for local candidates; she also worked for the 2004 presidential campaign of Howard Dean.
Biography
Moody earned her B.A. from the University of Arkansas. Her professional experience includes teaching; working as a tech illustrator; and advertising/merchandising with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service.[2]

Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Michael Cahill, incumbent Marcia Moody and Ella Walichnowska were unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Joshua Davenport and Adam Schroadter were unopposed in the Republican primary. Cahill, Moody, Walichnowska, Davenport and Schroadter faced off in the general election.[3] All three incumbents, Cahill, Moody, and Schroadter defeated challengers Walichnowska and Davenport in the general election.[4]

2012
Moody won re-election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Rockingham 17. Moody advanced past the September 11 primary and won re-election in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6]
2010
On November 2, 2010, Moody won re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Moody ran for the Rockingham 12 District of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, winning the second of three seats with 3,163 votes.[7]
Moody raised $807 for her campaign.[8]
