Shinsou pocketed his phone in a hurried motion, his heart racing as he sprinted down the hallway, urgency driving him toward the nearest bathroom. The fluorescent lights flickered above him as he dashed through the corridor, the sound of his footsteps echoing in the otherwise quiet space.
Upon reaching the bathroom, he pushed open the door and quickly slipped into a stall, securing the lock behind him with a soft click.
Shit, shit, shit, shit. Why did I do that?
HYPNO:
Dude I'm fucking dead.
I forgot I was talking to my parents and cursed at them.
They're going to fucking kill me.
One of my dads isn't even working rn if I die this is goodbye.
KAMI: WHAT

HYPNO:

---------------------------------------------------------
After a few moments of waiting, Hitoshi hears the unmistakable sound of the bathroom door creaking open. Hitoshi covers his mouth.
"Shinsou? Shinsou, it's me, Kaminari!" the teen whisper-yells.
The tension in the air dissipates as Hitoshi lets out a long, weary sigh of relief. He pushes the stall door open to see the blond he's known for about a month. In reality, they've only been friends for a week, considering how they exchanged numbers, names, and classes just last week.
For a person who really isn't set on making friends, he's warmed up to Kaminari, and they've gotten close in the short time they've been friends. The younger is a lot different than Hitoshi's usual friends, but he kinda likes that about him. Hitoshi enjoys how bright he is, how he always approaches him with a smile on his face, and how he never judges Hitoshi for being quiet and continues the conversation even when Hitoshi only replies with a nod.
Kaminari stepped into the restroom, the soft click of the lock echoing behind him as he secured the stall door. He crossed the small space and perched himself on the edge of the sink, peering down at the gleaming porcelain with a wry smile. "If this thing turns on, my ass is going to be soaked," he joked, casting a sidelong glance at Shinsou, who leaned against the wall, chuckling in response.
"So... what happened?" Denki prompted, curiosity evident in his bright eyes.
Shinsou sighed, recalling the chaotic series of events. "I was just hanging out in the hall, waiting for you. Then they started bombarding me with texts, telling me to get back to class. We went back and forth, and then I just said 'ok, fuck yall'."
Denki's eyes widened, his mouth agape in shock. "And I thought I was the stupid one..."
"I deleted the messages," Shinsou continued, shoulders slumping in defeat. "But it was too late; they already saw it, so I just ran here."
"Are you just going to hide here?" Denki asked, raising an eyebrow in concern.
"Yeah, until it's safe to show my face," Shinsou replied half sarcastic half serious.
"Solid plan," Denki said with a smirk, then his expression suddenly shifted, a gleam of excitement sparking in his eyes. "Oh my gosh, Shinsou, your nails are painted! Can I see?"
With a gentle tug, Denki reached for Shinsou's hands, causing Shinsou to slightly blush at the sudden touch though Denki didn't need to know this, inspecting the delicate colors on his fingertips. they were light pink and baby blue with rainbow nail stickers on them.
"Oh, right," Shinsou recalled. "Um...My little sister did it."
"Wait, you have a younger sister?" Denki exclaimed, eyes wide in surprise, as if he had uncovered a fascinating secret.
"Yeah, you've met her before, haven't you?" Shinso replied, a hint of confusion coloring his voice as he watched Denki act as if this was the first time he was hearing about her.
"I have? Oh... now I feel bad. Wait, what's her name?" Kaminari frowned, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.
"Her name's Eri," Shinso stated, a touch of exasperation creeping into his tone. He was certain that Kaminari had crossed paths with her at some point.
"Eri? I thought she was adopted by Aizawa," Kaminari questioned, finally releasing Shinso's hands as though the conversation was starting to dawn on him.
"She... is? Kaminari, who do you think my parents are?" Shinso retorted, furrowing his brows as he tried to make sense of his friend's bewilderment.
Denki's eyes widened in shock, "Oh... Oh! Wait, sensei's gay?" His voice was a mixture of disbelief and curiosity.
Shinso, standing beside him, wore an unamused expression, his features betraying little emotion as he processed Denki's reaction. He glanced sideways at his friend, his deadpan demeanor contrasting sharply with Denki's animated surprise.
"Yeah... that was kind of obvious, I guess," Denki stated as he realized who he was talking about. "But wait, who's your other dad?" Denki's voice took on a more inquisitive tone, eager to unravel the mystery further.
"Present Mic," Shinso said, his tone unbothered and almost casual.
Denki's eyes widened in disbelief, and he exclaimed, "Wait, really?!" His jaw dropped, leaving him momentarily speechless.
Shinso chuckled softly, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes. "Yeah... They really kept you in the dark, huh? They've been married for seven years now." He shook his head slightly, a smirk playing on his lips at the shock on Denki's face.
"I owe Mina so much money I just remembered I need to head back to class before I get in trouble. Good luck with everything!!"
Denki stood there, his fingers awkwardly fumbling with the stubborn latch of the stall. The metallic clinks echoed faintly against the door as he finally managed to unlock it.
"You didn't see that," he muttered, a sheepish grin spreading across his face.
