Chapter Text
“She’s the most beautiful princess in the world,” Jimin said proudly as he lifted his six-week-old baby, Harin, for his brothers to admire.
“You can only say that because Yoongi is having another boy,” Namjoon pointed out.
“Listen to them,” Taehyung murmured with disgust. “Why is it that babies have the power to melt men’s brains?”
“I thought good sex had that power,” Yoongi added mischievously.
“That too,” Jeongguk said with a laugh.
Taehyun stood near the Park men, looking absurdly proud of his little sister. Jeongguk’s heart always swelled when he saw the love between father and son.
Taehyun’s adoption had only been finalized two weeks before Harin was born. One week later, Jimin received a frantic phone call from the lab that had done the paternity test. They had, in fact, made a mistake and swapped the result with someone else’s.
Jimin had been horrified, once again, by the fact that he had accused Jeongguk of lying. But Jeongguk had reminded him that he had believed him long before knowing the result was, indeed, wrong. That was enough for Jeongguk.
Taehyung had been quick to point out that all they needed to do was wait for Harin to be born, because there wasn’t a single person in their right mind who could deny that she was a Park from head to toe.
The baby had big, dark eyes and hair, and was blessed with Jimin’s olive-colored skin. For all practical purposes, she was a miniature Jimin, with her short little legs and Jeongguk’s nose.
Jeongguk looked around at his family, all gathered in their home on the cliff with a view of the sea. There was so much happiness there. Sometimes, it was hard to believe it was all his. That he had a family. That he belonged to a family. He and Jimin had wandered the world for so long, but somehow, they had found their way to each other, and found the most important thing of all—a home.
“I’d like to propose a toast,” Namjoon said, raising his glass. “To the Park husbands. I have no doubt they will keep us on our toes and aware until we grow old, and I intend to enjoy every minute of it.”
“To them, to them,” Seokjin agreed, raising his own glass.
Jimin turned to smile at Jeongguk, who stood up and positioned himself beside him, both of them looking at the bundle in his arms. He extended his arm, and Taehyun snuggled up beside him.
“I’d like to propose a toast,” Jeongguk said. “To Taehyung. May he give Seokjin a house full of beautiful, bold little girls just like he is.”
“Bit your tongue,” Taehyung murmured, but his eyes sparkled with happiness.
Seokjin put an arm around his husband.
“God help me if that happens. A mini Taehyung is all this world needs.”
“I’d like to propose a toast to love and friendship,” Yoongi said. He pulled Jeongguk and Taehyung away from their husbands, and wrapped his arms around their shoulders.
Jeongguk and Taehyung hugged him back.
“To love and friendship,” they both echoed.
The end.
