Summary
Rabastan and Andromeda were promised to each other as children, and as far as he's concerned, there's no one he would rather marry. He thought she wanted that, too, but when the time comes to make a decision, she runs.
She's caught a glimpse of what he's turning into, and it frightens her. She runs right into the arms of Ted Tonks, who is kind and gentle and everything Rabastan is not.
She runs, and he never stops wishing she had stayed, even as he vows to take revenge on the people he believes led her astray.
