Chapter Text
"I'm sorry? Did I hear that correctly? You want me to be your boyfriend?"
"For a day."
"And why would I do that?"
"Well, if you don't then I can reveal your secret to your friend, what was his name again? Oh, that's right! Taehyung. Do you honestly want your best friend to know how much of a pervert you truly are?"
"No! But I'm also not a perve."
"Sure," Yoongi said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes. "I mean, you should be glad I'm even considering hiring you. I could've easily just blackmailed you and not given you anything in return."
"I um..." Jungkook was completely lost. He never thought this is how his day was going to plan out.
"I saw your portfolio. You're really talented, but you don't have any work experience. If you work at my company, then you'll have no problem finding another job once your internship is over. Also, why would you turn down the chance to work at MIN Group?"
"I didn't know you were the CEO."
"Well, you didn't know anything about me when you had your hand inside my pants."
Jungkook groan. "I already apologize for that. Also, they weren't inside your pants, I barely touched your belt buckled."
Yoongi let out a small laugh which was then covered up by a cough. "So, what do you say?"
"But why for a day?"
"I'm not going to tell you the full back story because it's rather long and honestly I don't think it's appropriate for you to know. Long story short, my parents want to meet my boyfriend, but I don't have one at the moment. I can't tell them the truth because of something that happened in the past. I need you to be my fake boyfriend just for Saturday where we will have dinner with them. After that, I'll just tell them that it didn't work out, so we broke up."
Jungkook was quiet. He was thinking about the pros and cons. It was only for one afternoon and then after that he can continue working at MIN Group without having anyone know about his secret. It's a win-win situation for him.
"So, do we have a deal?" Yoongi took his hand out.
"Deal." Jungkook shook his hand firmly, without having to worry if it goes on longer than seven seconds.
***
After they made the deal, Mr. Min called his assistant back and told him to give him a tour of the company and the floor where he will be working at. Feeling more relieved, Jungkook finally took the time to look around. The place was enormous, it looks way bigger once you're finally inside. The younger couldn't believe that he was going to start working here tomorrow. Everything felt like a dream.
"Pretty amazing, huh?" Mr. Min's assistant said to him.
"It is. I still can't believe I got hired to work here."
"So, uh- if you don't mind me asking, how do you know Mr. Min."
"Oh." Jungkook cleared his throat. "I met him once before... my best friend is dating his best friend, but we only met briefly." Jungkook stopped in his tracks. "But I promise it has nothing to do with connections or some nepo crap. I didn't even know he was the CEO of this company."
Mr. Jung laughed. "Don't worry I'm not accusing you of anything. I was just curious cause it's not every day I see Mr. Min so talkative."
"Ahh, I see," Jungkook scratch the back of his neck.
"Well, this is it. Are you excited to start tomorrow?"
"A little. I'm more nervous than excited."
"Do you have any questions? Or concerns?"
"How long is the internship going to be?"
"Six months. After that, it's up to you to decide if you want to continue with our company or go somewhere else. If you decide to stay, then you'll have to go through another interview. Anything else?"
"Nope. Everything looks good."
"Great! Let's head up and sign your contract."
"Thank you, Mr. Jung." Jungkook bow.
The assistant immediately stopped Jungkook from bowing. "No, you don't have to do that. Also, you can call me Hoseok. Mr. Jung is only for Mr. Min. Now, let's go Jungkook."
The younger follow behind feeling more comfortable than he was earlier today.
***
Jungkook went home feeling half happy and half discombobulated. He was happy because he finally got a job and at an amazing and a well-known company. On the other hand, he feels disappointed in himself. He was only able to get the job because the CEO literally blackmailed him. Sure, he told him he was talented, but what if he lied to him? There's a high chance that he only said that to get the younger to agree to fake date him.
Sure, it's only for one afternoon, but who knows what could happen after the dinner is over. There's a high chance that Yoongi can cut off their deal and fire him. Maybe they should've written a contract before they parted ways.
The dinner is on Saturday, which is in three days from now. He was nervous. They didn't talk about anything. He doesn't know what to wear. How did they meet? How long have they been dating? Should he change his whole life story? They didn't even share each other's contact. How were they supposed get in touch?
Mr. Min last words to him that he'll contact him first, so he'll probably get his information from his file. He just hates the fact that he doesn't know when he'll message him first. He's hoping it's a day prior to the dinner, so that they can meet up and get their stories combine. Jungkook really doesn't want to fuck it up. Based on Mr. Min's facial expression, he had a feeling that their relationship wasn't the greatest. He wants to make the evening perfect so that he won't hurt their relationship even more.
"Hey Kookie! How did the interview go?" Taehyung asked, as soon as the younger entered through the door.
"It went great! I start tomorrow."
Taehyung embraces him in a tight hug and jumped up and down. "That's so good to hear! We should celebrate! Come!"
Taehyung grabbed his hand and took him towards the dinner table. "Since I had a good feeling that you were going to get hired, I bought sushi instead!"
"No way! Really?"
"Yes! Now, we're going to enjoy the food while you tell me everything."
They sat down on the table. "Soooo..." Taehyung trailed with a cheeky smile.
"Well, first of all, the place is enormous! It doesn't even compare to what we see in pictures. It has a total of 10 floors, but I don't know what's in each yet. I only know that the CEO's office is in the 10th floors and I'm going to be working on the 6th floor. Oh, and can you believe that the cafeteria is the whole 5th floor? It's literally like a mall food court. You have so many good options to choose from. I'm so excited to start working tomorrow."
"That's great, Kookie! Where you the only intern that they hired?"
"No, there were two other people. There's this guy name Park Sunghoon and a girl name Jang Wonyoung. They're a bit younger than me, so I'm not sure if we'll get along well."
"Interns have to stick together, so I'm sure you'll befriend them easily."
"Thank, hyung. Also, why didn't you tell me that the CEO was the guy who from the bar? Do you know how embarrassed I was when I found saw him."
Taehyung laughed. "I'm sorry. I honestly didn't know until Namjoon told me this morning when I mentioned that you had left for your interview. You should've seen my expression when I found out. Did you get to talk to him?"
"N-not really." He shook his head. "It'll be kind of weird to go up to the CEO in front of everyone, don't you think?"
"You're right. Well, I'm really happy for you Kookie. I'm glad because you'll finally be able to go to back to school once the semester starts."
"Thanks, hyung. I'm happy too. It's like a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulder. It'll help me get a better job once my internship is over."
"Something better than MIN Group?"
"I mean, yeah. You know it's always been my dream to work overseas."
"I know that's all you talk about. I'm one hundred percent sure you'll achieve your dreams. You kind of have too since you did promise to spoil me once you make it big, and you know I have expensive taste."
"I did, didn't I?" Taehyung nodded.
They continue to eat dinner that was filled with conversations, gossip, and laughter. Times like this makes Jungkook think that everything is going to get better.
***
It's the next morning and Jungkook was getting dressed for work. He already called all of his managers and let them know about his new job. They were all happy to know that he was working hard to achieve his dreams. Taehyung, yet again, let him borrow another suit, or multiple suits actually. He had various styles and colors laying down on his bed. Not wanting to draw much attention to himself, he decided to go with a single slim black and white suit. He had to be there by 9 a.m. and it was a thirty-minute drive if he takes the bus, so he needs to leave in 15 minutes if he wants to make it on time.
When he made it inside the company, he was immediately met with Hoseok and the two other interns at the lobby.
"I'm sorry. Am I late?"
Hoseok smile. "Nope. Don't worry everyone else just got here. I'm taking you guys to get your picture taken so that I can make your company IDs. That way you can access when entering and leaving and also for the cafeteria." They began to make their way to the elevator. "As for ordering food, you get one free breakfast at the cafe and one free lunch at any restaurant. If you want anything else, then it'll have to be from your own money."
Everyone nodded but never said anything. "Who's up first?" Hoseok asked once they made it to the 6th floor. Wonyoung ended up volunteering first, next it was Yeonjun, and then it was finally Jungkook's turn.
"Have a seat here." The photographer pointed at the chair. "Put your hand on your lap and look straight at this red light, right here." She instructed once Jungkook sat down. "Ready in 3...2...1." Then the flash went off. "It looks great. Thank you!"
After the pictures were done, Hoseok took them to meet the rest of their team. "Guys, this is the interns that are going to be working for us for the next 6 months. Please, introduce yourself."
After the introductions were done, their team leader Kim Seokjin, paired up each intern with someone from their team to help them adjust. They helped them install their own laptop, caught them up with their current project, and then gave them individual task to work on. Fortunately for Jungkook, all he had to do was clean up any photos that the last editor, Vernom, might've missed before finally passing them to Mingyu. Jungkook was thankful for this task since they had Wonyoung on a coffee run and Yeonjun was bring boxes from the lobby to the sixth floor. It was copies of this month's new magazine edition.
It was finally lunch time and the younger was currently seating with the two other interns, Seokjin, and other members from their team whose names who couldn't remember. "So, how are you guys liking it so far?" Their team leader asks, with a mouth full of rice.
"It's nice. This place has such a good atmosphere, and everyone seems so laidback." Yeonjun answers.
"It wasn't always this way, you know. Three years ago, the last CEO was so strict and mean. He was just a horrible person," said Mingyu.
"Really? What happened to him? Did he quit or was voted off?"
"Nothing too crazy. He just retired and handed the position to his son."
"Is he better?"
"Yes. Since he became in charge, people actually started showing up, we got a raise, and we barely had any problems when it came to our projects. The only thing that sucks is that we have a mandatory monthly meeting where we all gather in the conference room. It sucks because it gets extremely hot and the only snacks they give us are chips and pink lemonade, which are honestly so gross. The meeting can last up to one hour or more. I think the longest one was three and a half hours."
"Ugh that was because some guy name Beomgyu from the writing department wouldn't stop complaining about his partner Soobin. It was awful."
"The CEO, what do you guys know about him?" Wonyoung asks, "Is he marry?"
Seokjin shrugs his shoulders. "I'm not sure. When he first joined, he seemed happier, but since a couple of months ago he only wears a frown on his face."
"Hmm, I heard he was dating someone, but they broke up with him because apparently Mr. Min only paid attention to his job."
"I heard it was because he actually had an awful personality."
It's not like that. Jungkook wanted to say, but he couldn't. He couldn't just randomly say that Mr. Min is actually funny and only talks in sarcastic tines. He needs to act like he has never seen that man before in his life.
"He's extremely handsome though, so I'm sure he'll be able to find anyone he likes."
If that was true, then maybe Jungkook wouldn't be in the situation he is in right now. About that, Mr. Min hasn't contacted him at all about the dinner with his parents. Hopefully he texts him sometime today or by tomorrow, because they need to come up with a plan and rehearse it by Saturday. Just thinking about the upcoming event is driving the younger's heart crazy.
"Let's go guys. Lunch is over."
***
Jungkook was finally back home after a long, but calm day of work. He was still exhausted though. Taehyung was home and, on the phone, arguing with Namjoon.
"No, hyung. Why would you think that was, okay? I told I-" He was caught off. He nodded his head slightly as he nodded. "Right, I know, and I thanked you for that, but I asked you not to do that." Taehyung let out a sigh. "I don't want to have this conversation on the phone with you. Let's meet up tomorrow morning and talk it out. Okay?"
They said their goodbyes and then Taehyung hung up and threw himself on the couch.
"Is everything alright?" Jungkook took of his shoes and quickly went to sit next to his friend.
"I don't know."
"Explain it to me then." Taehyung put his head on top of Jungkook's thigh and the younger immediately started petting his hair.
"Hyung and I went out to eat for lunch and everything was going great. When we were about to leave, Joon hyung needed to use the restroom, so I waited for him outside. While I was waiting, some drunk guy came up to me and started flirting. I kept turning him down and I told him that I was already seeing someone, but he still wouldn't leave me alone. He kept getting closer and trying to touch me and then hyung came out of nowhere and punched him in the face. He punched him twice and then security came and escorted him away from the premises. I was thankful that Namjoon saved me, but I just hated the way he did it."
"Did you tell Namjoon-ssi why you hate violence?"
"No... I was just so mad that I ignored him the whole ride him. He apologized so many times, but not once did I glance at him. I felt so guilty, because he really did nothing wrong. I feel like I overreacted."
"But you didn't. You had a perfectly normal reaction. You should tell him the truth. If you keep it from him then it's going to drive him thinking that you didn't want his help. I know how much you hate miscommunication."
"How do you always know how to help me with my relationships, even though you've never been in one."
"Ouch! You could've just said thank you, you know?"
"Yes, thank you, Jungkookie. You always know how to make me feel better."
Late at night, before Jungkook went to bed, he checked his phone and there was still no message or missed call from Mr. Min. Thinking that maybe he'll talk to him tomorrow or send him a message after work, Jungkook decided to go to sleep.
***
The next day at work, Jungkook was on his way to lunch when he spotted Hoseok by the elevators.
"Hey, hyung." Jungkook wave.
"Hey, Jungkook. How are you liking work so far?"
"I like it a lot. Everyone is so nice and so far, everything has been easy."
Hoseok chuckle, "just wait until it starts getting close to the deadline. Everyone starts running around like crazy."
Jungkook laughed. "I don't even want to think about that yet."
"Are you on your lunch break?" Jungkook nodded.
"Do you want to eat together? Mr. Min has been on a business trip since yesterday, so I'm free."
"I would like too."
Jungkook felt like today was better than yesterday. The lunch with Hoseok was better, mainly because it was the first time someone asked him about himself and didn't gossip about anyone in the workplace. Jungkook also felt relieved when he found out that Mr. Min wasn't in Korea, because then it meant that dinner with his parents is probably cancel. The rest of the day went by fast and soon enough, Jungkook was back home.
"I'm home," Jungkook said, as he came inside.
He heard giggles and soft whispers, so he decided to go upstairs knowing that Taehyung finally made up with Namjoon. After taking a quick shower, the younger laid in bed feeling content knowing that he had two days off of work.
He checked his phone one last time and there were still no new messages from Mr. Min and then he drifted into a deep sleep.
***
It was already nighttime and three hours before Jungkook was supposed to go out with Mr. Min. At first, the younger wondered if something bad must've happened to him since the last time they met, but then Hoseok told him that the CEO was just out of the country.
Jungkook was laying on the couch eating his second bowl of ramen when the doorbell rang multiple times. He knew that it couldn't be Taehyung since he was out for a weekend getaway with Namjoon.
"Maybe it's people trying to sell me stuff," Jungkook said to himself, nut then the doorbell rang again and again. Realizing that they weren't leaving anytime soon, he headed downstairs.
"What is it?" He yelled as soon as he opened the door.
"Is that how you talk to your boyfriend, honey?"
It was Mr. Min. He was wearing a black ripped flare jeans and a white button up shirt tucked inside his pants. His hair wasn't gel back like it was on Wednesday when they met for the interview, instead he was met with soft curls that covered up his eyes a bit. There was also a small silver hoop earring on both of his ears, which caught Jungkook off guard because he didn't even know they were pierced in the first place.
"What are you doing here?"
"We had a deal, remember?"
"You mean, the dinner is still on?"
"Yes... did you not received my message?"
"No."
"I think you're lying. You obviously saw it and you're lying so that you won't have to go."
"I can show you if you don't believe me." Jungkook went back upstairs to his room to check his phone. And there it was. One single message from an unknown contact stating, "be ready in 5."
"See, I messaged you." Mr. Min said as he looked over the younger's shoulder.
"Yeah, like 5 minutes ago. Also, how was I supposed to know that it came from you?"
"Well, did you make other plans this weekend to pretend to be someone else's boyfriend?"
"No."
"Then you should not that it's from me."
"Okay but why did you wait until now to message me when you had three whole days to do it."
"I was away on a business trip."
"And you couldn't text me that to let me know. I thought the dinner was canceled. Also, he texts someone to be ready in 5 minutes to a freaking fancy dinner to meet your partner's boyfriend?"
"Awe, look at us having our first fight. What should I do next?" Yoongi asked playfully.
"I think this is the part where you should apologize."
Yoongi handed Jungkook a small bouquet of orange tiger lilies, which the younger didn't even realized he was holding in the first place. "I'm sorry I didn't contact you that I was leaving."
"And..." Jungkook crossed his arms.
"And I'm sorry I waited until last minute to let you know that the dinner was still on."
"And..."
"And I think this is when we're supposed to kiss and make up."
"Shut up." Jungkook softly hit him with the flowers. "Thank you for the apology. And for the flowers. Tiger lilies are actually my birth flower, I even have them tattoo on me."
"You have a tattoo?"
"Yes," Jungkook said as if it was one of the most obvious things in the world.
"Well, my bad. It's like I'm checking out everybody I see, unlike some people. Also, every time we see each you're always dressed in suits."
"Yeah, that makes sense."
"Can I?" Yoongi asked shyly, with a hint of redness spreading through his cheeks.
"Can you, what?"
"Can I see your tattoo?"
"I thought you said you weren't the type of person to check out other people?"
"I'm not, but now you have me curious. So?"
Jungkook handed the flowers back to Yoongi and removed his hoodie revealing nothing else underneath. Yoongi gulp as his eyes slowly travel down Jungkook's arm. "Wow." That was all he could say as his eyes scanned through each tattoo.
"Do they have meanings?"
"Some do and some were just for fun."
"They're really nice." Are you planning on getting more?"
"Hmm, I'm not sure yet. What about you? Do you have any?"
"No. I never thought about getting one before, and even if I did, I wouldn't know what to get. Do they hurt?"
"It depends on where you get it. Also, everyone pain tolerance is different. The ones on my hand didn't hurt at all, but when I asked around, they said it's the most painful place to get. I'm sure you'll be fine though."
Yoongi traced the tattoos with his index finger starting from the fingers until he got to the shoulder. Jungkook watched as the CEO moved his hand gently until his eyes caught his gaze. They stared at each other for what felt like centuries, the younger was a couple of inches taller. His eyes wander from the top of the CEO's hair, down to his eyes, and his button nose, until finally he reached his lips. The younger's eyes stayed there for a few seconds long and they went back to Yoongi's eyes. Mr. Min cleared his throat and took a step backwards.
"You should get dressed so that we can go."
"I don't know what to wear." Jungkook admitted.
"It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Just wear whatever you want."
"I can't just wear 'whatever'. I'm not only meeting your parents, but the chairman and chairwomen of MIN Group. Which I don't know if you remember, but I work there."
"Yeah, but for tonight we're going to pretend that you don't. Look, I'm trying to get back at my parent's a little bit, because honestly, they ignored and belittle me when I came out to them. So, yeah, I don't care what you wear. Ooh, actually, you should show off your tattoos. Do you own any ripped clothes or something like the shirt you wore for the club opening?"
"Not really. I just wear long t-shirts and baggy jeans."
"That's perfect."
"No, I'm not going to wear that in front of your parents."
"I don't know why you're taking this seriously when I already told you I'm trying to get back at them."
"Why don't you try to be the bigger person in this situation. I could dress nice and pretend that I'm the best boyfriend and create a backstory that your parents would be proud of. That way then can see that you were doing better even without them around."
Mr. Min let out a sigh. "You're right. Wear something nice then. How much time should I give you?"
Jungkook shrug his shoulders. "I showered an hour ago and it won't take long to look through Taehyung's closet, so maybe an hour?"
Mr. Min nodded. "I'll give you thirty minutes!" He yelled as he quickly ran out of the room.
"Why would you even ask me in the first place?" The younger asked, holding back every curse word that came into mind because that what still his boss he was talking too. Jungkook only took twenty minutes to get dress. He ended up wearing a simple grey turtleneck sleeve, black skinny jeans, pair up black platform boots, and a black longline trench coat.
"You ready to go?" He asked his boss once he made it downstairs.
"Mhmm, let's go."
***
Jungkook was standing in front of a mansion-no, Yoongi's house. He couldn't believe that a house like this actually exists outside of movies, and he couldn't believe that he was going inside of one.
"Are you ready?"
"No, but it's not like I can break our promise." Jungkook replied truthfully.
Yoongi laughs, "let's go then." He unexpectedly grabbed the younger's hand and pulled him towards the house. He unlocked the door and just when they were about to go in, he stops.
"What's wrong? Do you not want to do this anymore, because we can totally reschedule this for another day? I really don't mind."
"What? No! I just forgot to tell you something extremely important."
"Okay," the younger stay quite as he waited for Yoongi to speak up. "Are you going to tell me or what?"
"Your real name is Park Jimin, we've been dating for three years, and we are currently engaged." He said rather quickly before opening the door and dragged Jungkook inside.
"Who the heck is Jimin?" He wanted to ask but was too late because Mr. Min's parents were standing in front of them.
He put his hands at the pit of his stomach and bow. "Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Jeon- sorry, I'm a little nervous. I'm Park Jimin."
"Nice to meet you Mr. Park." The father spoke first while the mother stood there with an unsure smile.
"Who's hungry?" He let out an awkward laugh before turning around the led the way to the dinner table.
The servants sat them down the table. Both parents were on both ends while Jungkook and Yoongi sat across from each other.
"So, Mr. Park, what do you do for living?"
"Um I'm a-", he was cut off.
"He owns a clothing brand and right now he's preparing for a show in France." Yoongi said instead.
"What school did you attend?"
"I'm still-"
"He attended Yonsei University."
"A private school? What do your parents do?"
"My mom is a-"
"His mom is a private chef and owns more than 30 restaurants in the United States and his father is an executive management attorney."
"We'll like to hear him speak Yoongi."
"Sorry," he mumbles and then took a bite off of his chopstick.
"So, what kind of clothing line are you working on?"
"He's doing-" Yoongi was beginning to say but he was caught off by his dad again.
"I'm pretty sure I asked Jimin." He said, with a stern tone.
Jungkook gave Yoongi a reassuring smile. "Well since I'm working in France right now, I decided to work with their famous bleu de France fabric. Which are different shades of blue. I'm working on creating different styles of dresses since I haven't done that before." Jungkook said. He made a mental note to thank Taehyung for all those times he talked and talked about his favorite designers.
"What about me dad? You're not going to ask me anything? We haven't talked in three years and even more than that before I even came out to you. You got nothing to say?"
"Yoongi! You shouldn't talk to your father that way?" His mother finally spoke.
"I know this dinner was for you to get to know my fiancé, but shouldn't you ask about what I've been doing this past three years since you abandoned me?"
"We didn't abandon you-"
"No, but you dropped all contacted with me. It's practically the same thing."
"How did you two meet?" The mother asked when no one else spoke. Yoongi wasn't answering though, instead he shoves food inside his mouth, so the younger spoke instead.
"Nothing romantic really. I was at an art museum when I almost dropped an ancient vase, but Yoongi hyung caught it before it could fall. I still had to pay a fine because the glass case did fall and broke and that was also expensive. I didn't have money at the time because I was still in college, and I didn't want to use my parent's money, so he paid for it. I was indebted to him, so I asked for his number to pay it back later and throughout the months we spend together we grew closer and eventually fell in love." This time Jungkook thanked himself for watching so much anime.
"Either way, that sounds lovely."
His father stood up fast the chair ended up falling down. "Excuse me," he said, before leaving the room. A servant that stood behind him quickly went to pick it up.
"If he was going to act this way, why did he even bother to contact me in the first place?"
"Honey, you know it's going take a while for your father to get used to your fiancé. It's not the life we expected for you to have."
"That shouldn't be an excuse. I'm still the same son you and father raise. Just because I like men doesn't mean I'm a completely different person."
"I understand that, but it's taking a while longer for your father to do the same. You know he's trying his hardest to fix everything. Maybe you should go talk to him. I'm sure he went up to his office."
"Okay," Yoongi groan, but he still got up and left.
His mother waited until he left before getting up and telling a servant to place a chair next to Jungkook/Jimin.
"You know, I've always wanted for Yoongi to start dating. I never cared if it was a boy or girl. When he came out, I was so happy for him, but his father wasn't. I couldn't go against my husbaThnd at that time, but after Yoongi left, I regretted everything. Throughout the years, I tried to convince his father that Yoongi was still our son and who he loves doesn't change anything. At the end, I was able to persuade him to call Yoongi, of course with him thinking that it was his own idea."
"You should say that to him. And you should also apologize. I know I'm in no position to state my own opinion, especially when I don't know much about his past, but I hate to see him hurt."
"Thank you. I definitely will." Mrs. Min place her hand on top of Jungkook's hand. His eyes began to roll into the back of his head. He felt a mix of lemon yellow and a muddier green. This isn't the first time Jungkook has seen more than one color in his vision, but it meant that the arousal was going to be worse. Then, when the first image came, it caught him off guard. It was an image from the past. It was the scene when Yoongi and his parents where arguing and there was a broken pot of flowers thrown on the ground. Then, it was an image of the mother on her knees with her hands covering her eyes. The third image was of his mother seating by herself in the dark while looking through her family photos.
The green aura became stronger causing a cold breeze to go through Jungkook's body, creating goosebumps everywhere. This time though it wasn't an image, but almost like a short video. The first one was of the mother placing two bottles of mediation inside the drawer of her nightstand. Next, it was her in the middle of a shopping trip and she ended up passing out and she was taken into the ambulance. Then, it ended with her crying as the doctor gave her negative news. Finally, everything came to an end and his eyes finally came to normal.
"Are you alright? I kept calling your name, but it seemed like you were sleeping with your eyes open."
"Y-yes I'm alright." Jungkook looked over and saw Mrs. Min's plate completely full.
"Are you sure? I can call Dr. Choi for a quick check up."
"I'm seriously okay, ma'am. I'm probably jet lag since I arrived from France yesterday. Thank you though."
"Well, if you say so. If you change your mind, please let me know."
"I will. Thanks again."
Mrs. Min smile. "Would you like to see Yoongi's baby pictures?"
Jungkook smile. "I do! Would you mind if I go to the bathroom first?"
"Sure. It'll buy sometime while I search for the albums." She turned to one of her servants and told her to show the younger where the bathroom was.
Jungkook needs to find a way to tell Yoongi what he saw. But how can he? He doesn't know about his visions and if he told him the truth there's no way he'll believe him. He still needs to tell him no matter the outcome. But first, he needs to fix the problem in his pants before his arousal becomes worse.
***
It was 9 p.m. and Jungkook and Yoongi were getting to leave when his father stopped him. "It's too late to drive and there's no way you're taking the train or a bus. Why don't you sleep over. Your room is already ready for you."
"Really? You want us to stay the night?"
Mr. Min scratched the back of his neck. "I do- I mean your mother was really looking forward to eating breakfast in the morning."
"Uh-huh. Well, sorry but-"
"We will love too." Jungkook agree, earning a glare from Yoongi.
"Great! We're going to head to the room already. Yoongi, dear, I'm sure you still remember where your bedroom is, right?"
Yoongi nodded. "Okay, then. Goodnight." She went over to Yoongi and gave an awkward, but also a tight embrace and then the same to Jungkook. His father just stood contemplating whether or not he should do the same, before just deciding to pat Yoongi's shoulder instead.
"Did you seriously had to agree?"
"Of course I did. We drank alcohol and it's illegal to drive under the influence."
Yoongi groan. "Ugh! Whatever let's just go."
The walked to Yoongi's room which was at the fourth and finally floor at his house. Jungkook was gasping by the time they reached the top floor. "You would think that with all this money you would have an elevator."
He smirked. "Oh, we do have one."
"Why didn't you tell me!" The younger grabbed him from the shoulder and shook his body.
"You didn't ask. And honestly, I wanted to get back at you for agreeing to stay the night."
"You're so mean." Yoongi let out a loud laugh, something Jungkook hasn't seen all day since they arrive.
"Wow, your room is huge. I can't believe it takes up the whole floor.
"I know. My parents build it with the idea that I'll move in with my future wife and have lots of privacy to make lots of babies."
"Eww, no way."
"I'm being for real. They actually wanted to make a kitchen and laundry as if it was an own apartment, but I talked them out of it. Instead, I have my own floor and my own bathroom."
"Must be nice, but did you seriously had to get a small bed? With this space you should've gotten a California king bed or maybe two of them."
"I had one, but it was too big, so I switched to a full-size bed."
"Umm, you can sleep on the bed. I'll be fine by sleeping on the floor."
"Damn right I'm taking the bed. It's my room either way."
"You ass, you're not even going to bother asking to switch or for both of us to take share the bed?"
"Why would I? You said you were fine to sleep on the floor."
"Well duh! I'm not going to claim your bed when it's your room. I was trying not to overstep."
"Then, do you want to take the bed? Or share it?"
"No! It's not fun since I was practically begging for it. I'll take the damn floor!"
"You don't rather sleep on the couch? You can change it into a bed."
"No! I'm taking the floor."
Yoongi put his hands in the air. "Okay, okay. I get it. I'll take the bed then."
"Ugh, you're such a bad boyfriend!" Jungkook groan. He went to the bed and grabbed the bed cover and the two pillows. "You can have the bed, but I'll take everything else."
Yoongi rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry. Please take the bed. I don't mind sleeping on the floor." He said sincerely this time.
"Took you long enough. Now let me borrow some clothes to change into."
"Also, where the hell did you come up with all that stuff that you said to my parents." Yoongi asked while he looked his closet.
"Well, all Taehyung talks about is clothing brand, his favorite designers, and the type of fabrics that he enjoys, so I was able to pick up a few things from it. As for our 'How We Met' story, was just an anime I watched a while back. And who are you to judge? You told me I could be myself, but then you changed my name, our relationship status, and my family's background."
"Sorry, since I gave them your name, I was scared they were going to do a background check on you. So, I wanted the story to match if that was the case." Realizing that the conversation was changing the atmosphere and making Yoongi's mood go down, he decided to drop the subject.
After getting everything settled, Jungkook lay in the bed while Yoongi lay uncomfortably on the floor.
"Are you sleeping?"
"How can I sleep when I'm lying on the ground?"
"There's something I need to tell you."
"What is it?"
Could Jungkook really tell him about his secret? He hasn't even told Taehyung and they been friends since forever. But he needs to tell him about his mother before it's too late. But then again, after tomorrow, they'll probably never talk to each other unless it's for work or they meet again because of Namjoon. But what would happen if he told him the truth? Will he believe him? Or will he call him a weirdo or a pervert?
"Ne-never mind." Jungkook covered himself with the blanket and began to move around anxiously.
Yoongi sat up and glared at Jungkook. "God Damit! Just tell me already."
Jungkook uncovered himself up to his neck, took a deep breath, and said, "I have a superpower where I can see the future and it makes me horny afterwards."
Yoongi stared at him dumbfounded. "You have a what now?"
