Chapter Text
Hooni couldn't stop smiling even after seeing Soorim's figure disappear into the hallway.
He walked back into his house and the moment he closed the door behind him, he giggled happily.
I'm dating. I'm actually dating for the first time…and my boyfriend is amazing! Hooni flopped down on the bed, sighing contentedly to himself. Soorim loves me so much. How am I so suddenly being so lucky? I thought I was someone unlovable…but look at this, he could barely leave because he wanted to be with me so badly. Hooni hugged his pillow to muffle his squeal of joy.
He wasn't lying when Soorim confessed to him; the blond had always been very special to Hooni, but he had never really seen Soorim in a romantic way before. Well, now that has clearly changed.
It's so hard not to fall in love with Soorim. They literally started dating yesterday, but Hooni is already head over heels for his boyfriend. Soorim has always been a caring friend, but now that they're dating, he's sweeter and more affectionate than ever.
Hooni thought it would be difficult, but he quickly got used to the tender kisses, the sudden hugs, and the way Soorim tirelessly expresses how much he loves him. Ah, I love Soorim so much too! he thought, blushing. His love for the blond naturally shifted from platonic to romantic, and Hooni isn't bothered by this. Dating Soorim is the best decision I've made lately.
Hooni isn't kidding when he says he thought he was unlovable. It was so frustrating being the only teenager his age who had never had any romantic experiences. Actually, it was frustrating to feel like no one loved you at all.
So knowing that Soorim was romantically interested in him obviously made him very happy. All the waiting was worth it in the end. I'm sure no other teenager has a boyfriend as amazing as mine! Hooni smiled. Soorim loves me so much. I'm living a dream!
After a few seconds of happily tossing and giggling on his bed thinking about his boyfriend, Hooni took a deep breath to compose himself and got up to turn off the light.
“I'd better go to bed early and get plenty of rest to make the most of my afternoon with Soorim tomorrow after school.” Hooni went to bed and lay down comfortably, ready for a good sleep.
But the moment he closed his eyes, memories came into his head, and he quickly opened them. Damn, why do I only remember this kind of thing the moment I go to sleep? Soorim and I didn't just hug and kiss innocently. Today, I did a handjob on him and he did one on me-
Argggghh!!! Hooni hid under the blanket in embarrassment, even though no one was watching him. We've only been dating for two days and we've already done something like this. It was so embarrassing to get a hard-on in front of him. Well, he was turned on too, and he was the one who made the handjob suggestion, b-but still!!! So embarrassing…
Perhaps we were too hasty? It's true that we just started dating, but…I always liked and trusted Soorim a lot. It wasn't hard for me to enjoy what we did, and I'm sure he liked it a lot too. Hooni concluded in his thought. I don't think there's anything to worry about since we both wanted this. But still, it's so embarrassing to remember the things I did and the sounds that came out of my mouth...
He sighed. Soorim has been taking over his mind lately. The blond makes the smaller boy feel thoughtful and anxious, but not in a bad way; it’s like...having butterflies in the stomach.
Taking a deep breath again and calming his heart, Hooni closed his eyes to finally sleep.
But suddenly, his phone beeped with a notification. Hooni opened his eyes, startled, and picked up the phone. I just want to sleep... what is it now?
-Good night Hooni. I love you, have sweet dreams <3
Hooni's eyes widened at the message Soorim sent him, before hugging his phone and holding back another squeal, totally forgetting his irritation at the person who had disturbed his sleep.
Soorim is the best! I love him!!!
♡
Soorim frowned when Hooni viewed his message but didn't reply, staring at his phone screen in concern. But after a few seconds, a notification from Hooni popped up, and Soorim sighed in relief.
-I love you too. Goodnight.
He smiled, looking fondly at the message. Hooni probably got all red and embarrassed, which is why he took so long to answer me. He is adorable.
Soorim would like to chat more with Hooni, like, all night long. But the boy must be going to sleep, so Soorim won't disturb him anymore.
After sending a big heart emoji to his boyfriend, the blond went back to what he was doing. Standing in front of the washing machine, Soorim took the dirty shirts out of his bag. He looked down at his own shirt and smiled.
I came on Hooni's hand, so I'm pretty sure at least 90% of the semen on these shirts is Hooni's. Is it too gross that I'm thinking about not washing my shirt after knowing this fact?
Soorim shook his head, realizing that it was a very stupid idea. If he hid this shirt and his family found it, he'd be screwed. And if Hooni ever knew about it, he would definitely find it gross too. What a pity.
He threw his shirt into the washing machine without a second thought, but as he grabbed Hooni's shirt, he stopped, the scent of his dear boyfriend immediately hitting him.
Soorim can't take long as Harim is in the living room, and if she decides to come here it will be very difficult for him to explain why he is doing laundry at this hour. But still, when holding Hooni's shirt, it's hard for Soorim not to remember very good recent memories.
Hooni moaning his name and repeating over and over how good he was feeling. The way Hooni closed his eyes in pleasure as he came in Soorim's hand. Hooni's hand wrapped around Soorim's cock, helping him come as well…
Soorim couldn't stop thinking about how hot his boyfriend was today, and obviously, he got a hard-on.
If Hooni wanted it, I would have done it again.
Finally putting the shirts in the wash, Soorim headed to his room and locked the door.
Soorim hoped they could have touched one more time, but he understands that Hooni was tired. Or maybe he was just too shy to ask again. If I had asked, would he have accepted?
He groaned. It's useless to regret not asking now that Hooni isn't here.
Soorim sat on his bed, sighing. Flashbacks came through his head nonstop, making him horny again. For now... I'll have to settle for my hand.
With his already hard dick out, Soorim wasted no time and started stroking himself. He closed his eyes, trying to imagine that instead of his own hand, it was Hooni's hand touching him.
"Hooni, Hooni..." Soorim repeated his boyfriend's name over and over again as his hand went up and down.
Come to think of it… the beginning of Soorim and Hooni's sexual relationship was handjobs. It's very, very recent, but Soorim can't help being greedy and think about the future, and how further their sexual relationship will progress. Soorim knows how male-to-male sex works, as he’s done enough “research” so he could prepare himself in case he could ever do it with Hooni.
Since he fell in love with Hooni, it was impossible for Soorim to get turned on by watching porn. If it's not Hooni, he's not interested. So when Soorim watched these kinds of videos, he was really just doing research.
...But well, of course he always got turned on by imagining that it was Hooni and him who were there instead.
In Soorim's imagination, Hooni was always on the receiving end; and now after all their recent interactions, it's more than clear to him that Hooni is the bottom.
My dear Hooni might be a little scared at first, but don't worry love. Soorim thought, stroking himself faster. I will prepare you carefully so that it's not painful. You will only feel pleasure.
Soorim already felt the wonderful warmth of Hooni's hands on his dick, and letting his imagination go further, Soorim wondered if Hooni's insides were just as warm.
Oh, I'm sure it's even better. Soorim groaned, bucking his hips into his hand. Hooni must be so tight and hot.
“F-Fuck…!” Soorim closed his eyes and gritted his teeth to contain his moan as he came, imagining filling Hooni's hole with his cock.
Soorim took a deep breath. When he came down from his post-orgasm high, he grunted and looked down at his dirty hand in shame. Hooni, I love you, so please forgive me for having so many dirty thoughts about you.
Of course, despite all of Soorim's desires, it's fine by him if Hooni doesn't want to progress their sexual relationship. Would it be frustrating? Yes, but he would never do something Hooni doesn't want to. Having the person he loves by his side and that love being reciprocated is more than enough for him.
But if Hooni allows me to go further…Oh, Soorim can barely tell the things he would do to him.
Again, sorry for all the dirty thoughts, Hooni. The blond cried internally.
My Hooni is probably already asleep. I better go to sleep too so time goes by faster; I want to see him already. Soorim went to wash his hands and impatiently waited for the shirts in the washing machine to be washed.
After putting them out to dry, he went back to his bed where he quickly fell asleep dreaming of Hooni, obviously.
♡
Hooni, for the first time on a Monday, woke up in a good mood. He smiled and hummed the whole time while he showered and got ready for school.
When he woke up, as expected, there was a good morning message from Soorim, saying he couldn't wait to see him. How could Hooni not be in a good mood? Oh, dating is wonderful.
Hooni had already put on his uniform and was ready to leave when he heard a knock on his door. He got excited, already knowing who it was.
He quickly opened the door, and of course, the not-at-all-unexpected visitor was Soorim. Hooni couldn't even say hi, as the blond immediately hugged him the second he saw him.
“Haha, you sure missed me, didn't you?” Hooni laughed, hugging him back.
"Haah, yeah, you don't know how much I wanted to see you." Soorim replied, burying his face into Hooni's neck and breathing his scent in deeply. "Hugging you in real life is so much better than hugging you in my dreams..."
He even dreamed about me… Hooni smiled. Other people might find Soorim too clingy and would be annoyed by it, but Hooni really likes it. Soorim has probably given him more love these past three days than Hooni has received in his entire life.
"I couldn't wait to see you too, b-but we're hugging with the door open, what if someone walks by in the hallway and sees?" Hooni asked, breaking the hug. "We better go now."
"Well, then..." Soorim grabbed Hooni, leading him inside and closing the door behind him.
Before Hooni could question him, Soorim pressed their lips together, holding the smaller boy's body against his to kiss him deeply.
Hooni was surprised and reflexively tried to break the kiss, but he couldn't as Soorim held him tightly. He had no choice but to melt into the kiss.
After a few seconds that felt like an eternity to Hooni, Soorim pulled away from him with a big smile on his face. Hooni was panting. "Y-You...how can you, e-early in the morning..."
"Were you really going to leave without giving me a kiss first? So cruel. How was I going to survive the rest of the day without my daily dose of Hooni?” Soorim asked dramatically, pretending to be hurt. But the smile that didn't leave his face gave it all away.
Hooni held back his laughter, rolling his eyes at his boyfriend's antics. Hooni only pretended to be annoyed so as not to show how much he actually enjoys it.
"Fine, fine, you've had your daily dose of me, now let's go! Jaehoon is probably already waiting for us." Hooni opened the door, pushing Soorim out as the blond laughed.
But when they left the house, unexpectedly, Sana, who lives next door, was also leaving his.
They immediately fell silent. The little blond's eyes and Hooni's widened at the sight of each other, while Soorim showed no reaction at all.
"U-Uh..." Hooni was the first to speak, very embarrassed. "H-Hi Sana..."
When Sana's surprise wore off, his eyes quickly filled with anger, especially directed at Soorim.
"Hmph!" Sana didn't answer, huffing in irritation and walking back into his house, slamming the door. I'll leave again when these two are gone! He decided.
"Looks like he's still mad at us..." It was Soorim who treated him badly, so why is he mad at me too? Hooni sighed.
"I couldn't care less about him." Soorim responded, but then thought for a second, and continued. "No, actually, I'm really glad he's angry and left. If he decided to accompany you too it would be a pain in the ass.” Soorim's patience with that guy has already run out tho, so he'd probably tell him to fuck off.
Hooni was alarmed. "S-Soorim, don't say that! W-What if he hears it???"
"Again, I don't care about him." Soorim coldly said, but his eyes quickly returned to their usual warmth. "Now let’s go, Hooni!" he grabbed his boyfriend’s arm, pulling him outside.
Hooni's jaw almost dropped. It's so shocking to see the always-nice Soorim hate someone that much, even more so when that person is Sana, someone he used to be friends with. He has other reasons why he dislikes Sana, but the main one that made Soorim snap at him... was because Sana hugged me.
He would never have guessed that Soorim was the jealous type of person in a relationship. Hooni had noticed before, but it becomes more and more clear how protective Soorim is as the days go by.
It's not like I hate it, tho. Hooni wouldn't admit it out loud, but even though he finds it a little worrying, that protective side of Soorim makes him feel very loved, so he kind of likes it.
When they were outside, they walked slightly apart from each other. Soorim finds it disappointing not being able to walk hand in hand with Hooni like they did downtown, but he understands that it's different because no one knew them there, unlike here in the neighborhood.
Honestly, Soorim doesn't like the idea of keeping their relationship a secret. He would like everyone to know that Hooni is his. But if that's what Hooni wants for now then Soorim will listen, of course.
Further ahead, as Hooni said, Jaehoon was already there.
“You took too long. I was leaving without you.” Jaehoon said the moment he saw them, crossing his arms.
Liar. I know you were patiently waiting for us. Hooni held back a giggle. "Sorry for being late."
"You weren't really leaving, were you? You know your walk would be boring without us!" Soorim joked.
Jaehoon tsked. "And who said I like noise? I prefer quiet walks."
They laughed and talked like any other day as they walked to school. Seeing this, Hooni can't understand why Soorim was so reluctant to let Jaehoon spend time with them.
Of course, they had just started dating and Soorim wanted to spend the weekend alone with his new boyfriend, and Hooni totally understands because he felt the same way; but still, it was a little strange how Soorim was so insistent against Jaehoon's presence.
Well, it was probably just Soorim's clingy side getting the better of him. Now I can confirm that he really doesn't hate Jaehoon; they get along great, as always. Hooni sighed in relief.
"Oh, Hooni, I almost forgot." Soorim opened his bag, pulling out Hooni's now-washed shirt. "Here’s your shirt!"
"T-Thanks, Soorim." but did you really have to hand it to me in front of Jaehoon? Memories of what they did yesterday invaded his head again, and Hooni tried to remain calm so Jaehoon wouldn't notice his embarrassment.
Jaehoon raised an eyebrow. "Why do you have his shirt?"
Hooni tried not to panic. Jaehoon isn't usually curious, why did he decide to be now? Why???
"I accidentally spilled juice on his shirt, so I offered to wash it for him." Soorim responded very naturally.
Hooni would never be able to come up with an excuse as quickly as he did. Good job Soorim! The smaller boy smiled at Soorim, trying to convey what he wanted to say with his eyes. The blond smiled back, understanding it somehow.
"I see." Jaehoon replied, before continuing. "Hooni, what about the homework? Were you able to do it without my help?"
"Oh, yes, Soorim helped me, so I didn't have any problems."
“Soorim helped you?...Hm, are you sure you didn't have any problems?” Jaehoon asked.
Soorim's smile faltered for a second at Jaehoon's words.
Hooni didn't think much about the way Jaehoon spoke. "Yes, yes." he replied innocently, not noticing an annoyed Soorim beside him.
But he quickly would, as the blond didn't take long to open his mouth. "You know, Jaehoon..."
Oh no. Hooni thought, already nervous. I know that tone of voice.
Soorim continued. "...From the way you questioned it, it's like you're doubting my ability to help Hooni. Do you think you're the only one capable of that?" he asked, still smiling, but a slight anger was apparent in his voice.
No no no! after Soorim's fight with Sana, Hooni already knows by the way the blond speaks…when he's ready to fight someone.
He doesn't care that much if Soorim stops talking to Sana since they don't hang out much, but Jaehoon? He's our best friend, you can't fight Jaehoon!
Hooni put a hand on Soorim's shoulder, squeezing lightly to reassure him. "Soorim, I'm sure Jaehoon didn't mean it in a bad way." he quickly looked at the taller boy, waiting for confirmation. "R-Right, Jaehoon???"
Soorim was smiling, but Jaehoon noticed the cold way the blond was looking at him, so he was a little startled. This is…new. He thought, before calmly explaining. “Yes, I didn't mean to offend you, Soorim. I know you're very smart, but you're easily distracted, and you end up distracting Hooni too. He concentrates more easily when he studies with me.”
Shit. He probably shouldn't have said it that way. I don't know if Soorim will easily accept it. Hooni thought and looked nervously at Soorim, afraid of his reaction.
Soorim's smile quickly faded, no longer able to hide how displeased he is. Oh, he's angry right now. And he's even angrier because he knows what Jaehoon said is true.
Soorim wants to be Hooni's first choice for everything, even trivial things like needing help with his homework. When Hooni thinks he needs help studying, Soorim wants to be the first one that pops into the boy's mind. Only him and no one else.
...But how would he be able to fully focus on the homework, when Hooni's luscious, soft mouth is right there, just waiting to be kissed by Soorim? Jaehoon has never felt Hooni's wonderful warmth ( and never will ), so he won't understand how distracting it is for me. Soorim thought.
"S-Soorim?" Hooni called out to the blond in concern. Soorim was a few seconds without saying anything.
Seeing Hooni's worried eyes, his anger slowly dissipated until it was completely gone. I had promised Hooni that I wouldn't cause a scene again… Soorim sighed. You beat me on this one, Jaehoon. But it won't end here.
Fully calmed down, Soorim finally answered. "...Haha, I'll have to admit that you're right. But for your information, I managed to help him perfectly this weekend, even without you there!" well...it took us a whole day to finish the homework, but the end result is what matters, right?
“Good.” is the only thing Jaehoon said. Both he and Hooni were relieved to see the tense mood gone. Did he think I was doubting his intelligence? Jaehoon was very surprised because he didn't think Soorim would interpret it that way, and that he would be mad about it. Jaehoon is very observant, so he noticed that Soorim got really angry but held back. He usually doesn't get angry that easily. Did something happen?
Jaehoon tried to think of what could have caused this, when Hooni suddenly spoke. "Ah, Jaehoon! On Friday you said you couldn't hang out with us because you had an important matter at home, didn't you?
"Ohhh, yeah, he did say that!" Soorim remembered too. "Now I'm curious, what did you have to do at home that was so important?"
"It’s not a big deal." Jaehoon replied. "It's just that my cousin and aunt recently moved here, so I was helping them organize everything."
"Jaehoon is always so helpful~ How old is your cousin?” Soorim asked.
"He's seventeen. My aunt intends to enroll him in the same school as me and Hooni."
“Ah…that’s nice.” Soorim forced a smile. Hearing this, he was a bit bothered. When this guy starts school, he'll hang out with Jaehoon, and he'll probably befriend Hooni too. It's childish to be jealous of someone he doesn't even know, Soorim knows, but it's inevitable.
Soorim already had to put up with the jealousy he felt towards Jaehoon for studying at the same school as Hooni, and now there will be another person for him to be jealous of. That's not fair! I want to study with Hooni too!
Also, since Soorim won't be there to keep an eye on Hooni's interactions with this guy, Soorim fears that this person will try to get their hands on his Hooni.
... I'm probably overthinking it. I don't even know who this person is and I'm already making a thousand assumptions in my head. Soorim sighed. I better stop. Maybe he and Hooni won't even become friends and I'm worrying over nothing.
"Your cousin is coming to our school...? T-That's so cool! I-I hope we can become friends..." Hooni doesn't have many friends, so the thought of making a new one makes him overjoyed.
"He gets along with everyone so I'm sure you guys will get along great too." Hooni's eyes lit up. Jaehoon just said that to make Hooni happy, unaware of the turmoil he caused in Soorim's head.
Why is Hooni so happy at the thought of becoming friends with this guy? Soorim thought, very, VERY displeased. I knew I was right to be worried. I have to stay alert from now on.
Soorim didn't say anything else, thoughtful and worried about the future, so the rest of the walk was silent.
When they reached the street where he had to part ways with Hooni and Jaehoon to go to school, Soorim turned to the smaller boy.
"Hooni, before I go, can I talk to you alone for a second?”
Jaehoon gave him a questioning look but didn't say anything. Hooni was also a bit surprised. "Sure, but, uh...." he said, looking at Jaehoon.
Jaehoon sighed. “Just don't take too long or we'll be late.”
"Don't worry, it'll be quick." Soorim replied.
While Jaehoon waited, Soorim and Hooni were a bit further away to talk.
"Soorim, what is it? Did something happen?" Hooni asked, concerned.
"It's nothing much, Hooni. I just wanted to say that I love you and I hope you have a good day at school today!"
Hooni blushed, immediately turning around to see if Jaehoon wasn't listening. He sighed in relief when he saw that his friend was distant enough. "I-I love you too, and I also hope you have a good day today.” Soorim smiled lovingly at Hooni, who looked away in embarrassment. “I-Is that all you wanted to tell me?"
“..A-Ah, no.” Soorim almost forgot his main objective, too distracted by his boyfriend's cuteness. "Actually, I wanted to ask…” the blond’s cheerful tone trailed off. “You remember the promise you made me, right?"
"Promise?" Hooni tilted his head to the side in confusion. "What promise?"
“You won't let anyone else hug or kiss you.” his smile faded, Soorim turning completely serious. "If anyone tries to do anything like that, punch them. If that doesn't work, call me and I'll immediately come and beat them up myself."
Upon hearing his boyfriend's words, Hooni was utterly shocked. He remembers the promise, of course, but it's so strange to him how casually Soorim, the sweetest person he's ever met, mentions beating someone up. It's an image Hooni has trouble getting in his head.
On the other hand, imagining Soorim coming to his school like a knight in shining armor to defend him from some weirdo who tried to touch him makes Hooni excited. But that won't be necessary.
Hooni sighed. "Soorim, thank you for your concern, but no one will try to do any of that." he said as if it were obvious. "You're the only person crazy enough to want me."
Hooni, you have no idea how wrong you are. And it's because you're so naive that I'm here to protect you. "Still, I just wanted to remind you.” after saying that, Soorim suddenly smiled again, quickly changing his mood. "You better go now. I'm afraid Jaehoon will be seriously angry if he has to wait any longer haha.”
Hooni laughed. "Haha, you're right. Bye Soorim, see you later!"
"Bye-bye, Hooni!" Soorim said goodbye to his boyfriend. He watched Hooni run back to Jaehoon's side, before turning and continuing on his own path.
It saddens Soorim to part with Hooni without even a kiss, but they were still in Jaehoon's field of vision, so he knows it wasn't possible. I'll make up for it later by kissing him all day after school!
Soorim is happy that he was able to talk with Hooni alone before they parted ways. The blond trusts Hooni more than anything, but he doesn't trust other people at all, so it was good that he could at least warn him before he left for school.
One day, everyone will know that Hooni is mine, but for now...the only thing I can do is do my best to keep all the bugs away from him. Soorim thought determinedly, smirking as he walked. But then his mood dropped when he remembered he wouldn't be able to see Hooni for hours. Oh, I miss him so much already...
♡
On the way to school, Jaehoon couldn't help but ask. "Hooni, did something happen to Soorim?"
Hooni looked at him, confused by the sudden question. "Huh? What do you mean?
Jaehoon was silent for a few seconds, trying to think of the best way to explain it. “He looked a little off today. I thought something had happened that made him stressed.”
Jaehoon is probably referring to when Soorim got mad at him earlier, right? Hooni gulped. There's no way I'm going to tell him that the reason Soorim is stressed today is because we started dating and he's ten times more sensitive and protective than ever, so…what should I say???
“U-Uh, well, It's not like anything happened. Soorim is just…” Hooni scratched the back of his head, quickly thinking of something. “...g-going through a phase.”
Jaehoon raised an eyebrow at him. “A phase?” Hooni almost started to sweat, but then the taller boy seemed thoughtful for a second. He continued. “...Well, it makes sense. He's probably in a phase where he's more easily angered. Every teenager goes through this.”
"Y-Yes, exactly!" Hooni almost cried with happiness when he saw that Jaehoon believed in his lie. Actually, coming to think of it...maybe it's not completely a lie.
Maybe Soorim isn't the possessive type of boyfriend. That seems pretty far from his personality, actually. So...what if it really is just a phase? Hooni thought.
Soorim is probably nervous because he's liked me for so long, and now that we're finally together, he's really scared that someone will ruin everything; this also must be why he's been so protective and jealous lately. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's it. How did I not think of this before?
Hooni believes that Soorim is only acting like this because he is insecure as it's the beginning of their relationship, but as time passes, he will go back to how he was before. And that's why he considers it a phase; because it's temporary.
...Is it too bad if Hooni says he's kind of going to miss it? Soorim was a bit protective before, but overall, he was extremely carefree, and when Soorim goes back to that...Hooni will feel a little empty not having his boyfriend's full attention and concern anymore.
Hooni shook his head. Get over it, Hooni! Relaxed; that's how Soorim has always been. This ‘protective’ phase will end soon and everything will go back to the way it was before.
Yes...It will definitely end. Hooni thought again, unaware that Soorim had always been jealous and possessive; he just couldn't show it before. But now that they're dating, Soorim is quickly bringing out this side of him.
It's not a phase, and it won't end.
