Chapter Text
2 years has passed since the events that have started all this. "Ororo joined the x-men. Elizabeth went back to Britain and joined her brother on Excalibur. Warren is on Krakoa with Erik. Apocalypse is currently standing on the ground of Genosha and watches his followers train in the use of their powers.
"So have you decided on which four you're going to use?" Moria asks.
"No not this time." Apocalypse said.
"You want more?" Moria asks.
"I have decided with 12." Apocalypse said.
"I managed to get everyone on Team X pardons for all the missions they managed to do." Moria said.
"Good. Erik needs this. Deserve it." Apocalypse said.
"But odds are people will come for him," Moria said.
"Am I supposed to feel sorry for the poor soul who comes to Krakoa looking for trouble?" Apocalypse asks.
"Absolutely not," Moria said. After a few moments have passed. She changes the subject. "Why 12?" She asks.
Apocalypse then turns to her. "Because in this new world order. I will need more than just horsemen. I need...disciples." .

Meanwhile, in a secret location, a king talks to brother. "You were right. Erik was right." T'Chaka said.
"He can never know you said that," N'Jobu said with a smirk.
"Regardless. As King, I am supposed to protect Wakanda from all threats." T'Chaka said.
"And now you're going to take out threats so they don't come after us?" N'Jobu asks.
T'chaka nods. "Yes."
"So...who are your friends?" N'Jobu asks.
Then the prince sees an uncanny collection of characters. A bald woman, a rather hairy muscular man, a brunette man with a dragon tattoo. Ant-man, Wasp, and Giant man are among the group as well.
"The defenders." T'Chaka said.
"So you have the sorcerer Supreme, iron fist and demi-god, and a bunch of scientists," N'Jobu said. "What? Atlantis didn't want to participate?" He jokes.
"They have forged an alliance with Krakoa." T'Chaka said.
"Figures," N'Jobu mutters.

On the other side of the world. A shapeshifter talks to her pre-cog lover. The blue woman is hesitant to accept her new role.
"Are you sure this is the right thing to do?" Raven asks.
"Erik has his destiny. Hank runs the school." Irene said.
"Hank would be better suited for a government lap dog. I don't want to be known as the mutant sellout." Raven said.
"I have seen the future and it is important that we do this," Irene said.
"You better be fucking right about this!" Raven mutters. Then both ladies enter the board room where Valerie Cooper, Bishop, Shard are waiting for them.
"Great!" Everyone is here!" Cooper said. "As you may know since the Freedom force has been...dismantled and weapon x exposed. The government wants a team of mutants to help people." Cooper said.
"How is this any better than the X-men?" Raven asks.
"Because this time this team will uphold the law," Cooper said.
"And if we're not a freedom force, what are we?" Bishop asks.
Cooper just smiles at him. "X-Factor."
When the meeting was over. Raven pulls Bishop to the side. "Why did you show up for this?" She asks.
"Because at heart. I'm still a cop." Bishop admits.

At the X-mansion Hank finally finished his paperwork and smiles when Alex walks in. "Hey look. Headmaster Bozo is done working." Alex smirks.
"Are you ever going to stop calling me that?" Hank rolls his eyes.
"Nope!" Alex said with a smirk. Then he leans down and kisses him. "I do like this suit though."
"You like taking it off me." Hank scoffs.
"Isn't that what I said?" Alex asks.
Hank shakes his head and gets up from his chair. "Did the X-men start their training session yet?" He asks.
"They're just about too," Alex said.
They both head to the danger room where Scott, Jean, Wanda, Kurt, and Ororo start their training.
"Alright then. Let's go over this. One. more time. Work together to take it down. Don't try to be a hero!" Logan said.
Soon the program starts and everyone prepares to fight. Scott has a hand on his visor, Wanda's eyes and hands glow red, and Ororo has lightning come out of her hands.

On the Island of Krakoa Charles and Erik welcome the new batch of mutants and their families. Erik smiles knowing that the mutants aren't alone when they come. Soon they are joined by a familiar face.
"Erik," Adam said.
"Hello, Adam." Charles said.
"Taking a break?" Erik asks.
"Wanted to introduce you to the new batch of metas," Adam said.
Soon a woman leads a group of green to Erik and Charles. "Hello. My name is Doctor Wendy Lawson." She said.
"Who are your friends?" Erik asks.
"My son Walter." Wendy starts off. Then she gives a bunch of more names.
Aubrey Thompson, Jakob Scott, Laura Green, Carl Warner. The ages are various but they accept the metas either way.
"I heard rumors that this is a safe place for.. nonhumans. Please tell me that this is true." Wendy said.
"Of course it is," Charles said.
Erik sniffs the group of people that the Doctor brought with her. "You are not human. You are not mutants. What are you!" He asks.
"Would you believe me if I said, Aliens?" Wendy asks.
"After meeting HIM." Erik points to Adam. "Nothing surprises me anymore.
Soon the group that the Doctor brought to the island turned into their true form. Green skin and pointy ears.
"Huh, shapeshifters," Adam said.
"These are the Skrulls," Wendy said.
"And I guess you're not?" Erik asks.
"I am a Kree. My people and theirs have fought against each other for millennia." Wendy said.
"And then you found out the truth of your war. And you plan on doing everything in your power to keep them safe." Erik said with a sigh.
"That...covers it," Wendy admits.
"And I'm guessing because Skrull refugees are here now. I guess that means that your kind won the war." Erik said looking at the younger Skrulls.
"It's a long story," Wendy said.
Charles and Erik look at each other. "We got time." They said in unison.

Hours pass and after a long day. Both Erik and Charles were tired after a long day so they went to bed. "You seem awfully calm knowing that aliens are real." Erik chuckles.
"At this point. After seeing your dinosaur for the first time. Nothing surprises me anymore." Charles said.
Then Erik snuggles to Charles and lays his head on Charles's chest. /Good night Charles./ Erik said then he closes his eyes.
/Good night Erik./ Charles said. /I love you./ he whispers to him.
"I love you too." Erik mumbles.
Charles waited until Erik fell asleep first. Then he kissed his forehead and fell asleep too. They both slept through the night. No voices. No screams. Just absolute peace.
