The refined pollen colloquially known as primal’s kiss, though rare, had no magical applications as a reagent, or any intrinsic use beyond the rather intimate one for which it was usually sought. Lacking any reason to keep track of it, Kpp'Ar had apparently stashed the jar in the first out-of-the-way shelf space he found, then promptly forgotten it even existed. Until now, when—jostled from its hiding place—it had shattered, kicking a blooming cloud of its potent dust into the workshop air. Dust which, based on his reaction, Viren had inadvertently breathed.

Viren is the branch manager of Belle Katolis, which was recently bought out by the Aaravos Corporation. He finds himself immediately attracted to his new CEO, who seems only too eager to indulge Viren's fancies. Irrevocably in love with Harrow, who abandoned him years ago without so much as a goodbye, will Viren finally be able to move on and find happiness with Aaravos or is their intimate relationship just a big game to the elf?
